Did this guy just walk into a store and make an assessment of overall sales? The Fry's by my house is full of 360's and PS3s no Wiis though. Who the fck is this guy? seriously who approves this garbage? What I'm worried about is how Nintendo might influence the future course of gaming. I sure hope to god Sony and Microsoft doesn't make their next line of consoles after the Wii, Low graphics, new control schemes and a ton of useless minigames. Nintendo might look like it's the best thing right now but what if it truly has set the seeds for the future of gaming, 20 years from now would you really want another Wii 3? or a Sony and Microsoft version of one? Nintendo could be poisoning the future...
The HD-DVD $99 deal was just a limited time to unload all the unwanted HD-DVD players they couldn't get rid of. Oh and though there might be more stand-alone HD-DVD players out in the wild Blu-Ray disc sales are still toppling HD-DVD sales. Wasn't Disney, Steven Spielberg and them supposed to have "seen the light" by now according to some you HD-DVD guys?
Nice posting sales charts from one single website retailer. Not only that but BD is still beating HD-DVD in over-all disc sales. Oh and who was it that came out first and had %100 of the HD marketshare? As it stands BD is kicking ass and the desperation in the huge $99 HD-DVD player price drop is proof. Yea PSP is too clunky, when I changed from a PSP to an ipod Nano it was like switching from a brick in my pocket to well...a nano..Though the ipod Touch is a bit bigger I want it badly but I'm waiting out for it to get at least 32 or 64gbs before I do.
Coulda sworn PS3 was doing better than 360 in most of Europe. Either way they're not getting "Stomped" compared to the Wii yes it is but compared to the 360, the 360 had a head start. The PS3 with it's high price tag, controversial blu-ray player, pretty much no games for most of it's first year and a bit weaker online service has held it's own just fine.
The problem with the Wii is that with such an innovative console it needs extremely innovative games. What's happening right now is that a lot of companies are just releasing quick mini games to cash in quick. This can't last down the years because the gimmick will wear off and it's also bad because the last time this happened the Videogame crash happened. You'll only sell to so many casual gamers until you run out and casual gamers are just that, casual gamers and they don't buy a lot of gam...
It's about time they started advertising the PS3. I swear every other commercial is an Xbox commercial. Even multiplatform game commercials always end with "Jump In". Sony really under-advertises the PS3 unlike the huge blitzkrieg with PS2 commercials.

Sony can disable PS3's on the machine level I heard. I forgot where I heard it but I'm pretty sure that's what they said. Yea that is treading on holy ground, I mean I'd love a re-make but it's an extremely risky thing to do. They have to make sure it's a REMAKE and not a re-imagining. Everything has to be just as is and if they wanted to add some extra stuff that it has to not interfere with the original style. Which means nothing with a "-sin" tag on it (ie: Bahamut-Sin from AC. I'm still betting my money on an FF7 remake for the PS3 sometime in the future. If i was Square and I was working on a remake I would keep my mouth shut for 90-95% of the development time.
