What? How is that not in the right direction for them?
The PS3 (computer entertainment system) is Sony's flagship Videogame console and Blu-ray player, they have every right to market it for Blu-ray and for games. It's part of their common goal, and it will remain as such until the format dies out.
I'm afraid you're the one with 'IMAD' - Incorrect Memory Assessment Disorder
I think Microsoft has lost all sense of direction as far as where they're taking the 360. It's a shame.
They've changed mantras so many times, it's like having flashbacks to John Kerry's presidential campaign....
FLIIIIIIIP FLOPPPP
What? The demo did not disappoint. Nearly everyone I know has played it at least 10 times.
Check out my demo impressions:

I wholeheartedly agree with this article.
Journalistic integrity is something I hold in high regard.
Dude, you could not be more wrong.
That website really needs to do some research, as all mentions of the 360 are poorly placed and irrelevant to the timeframe of a Halo 2 / Killzone 1 comparison.

"After an eye-popping marketing campaign featuring posters playing on a Second World War-style propaganda style and trailers powered by British actor Brian Cox's rich voice work, the original Killzone was seen as a tentpole title for Sony in 2004. The game was billed as a "Halo-killer" and a...

I do appreciate Mozilla's efforts, but what in the world are people going to go on the internet with when they buy PCs?
If MS is forced to not bundle IE with their OS, what are we going to use to download firefox?

Added removal instructions as alternate source to story. Can't stand having to click through two sites to finally read the actual article we need to see
Hey, I am Dutch, and I am super proud that the best-looking game in the world is made by a through-and-through Dutch developer.
I LOVE the fact that their attention to detail and other seemingly unimportant little things is such a priority for them. It really shows they're a quality developer that has really come into their prime, and they will stop at nothing to implement the talent and resources they have into making a game as good as it can be.
Killzone 2's lighting engine is a separate rendering pass from everything else that's occurring in any given scene.
If you take out a light in Killzone 2, and there's no other lights around...you won't be able to see anything. Total blackness. No amount of gamma adjustment will help you. No light source in Killzone 2...you no see.
The lighting in Killzone 2 is what gives atmosphere and detail to objects and people, just like in real life. So therefore, the lighting e...
No they are not "bright textures", they just don't cast rays very far.
All the lights are dynamic. Don't you dare try and say the lights in KZ2 aren't dynamic.
For example, watch your buddies' blue lights on their backs when they get near a wall....you'll see blue light on the surface they're near.
Anyone notice this detail? :
When you kill a helghast soldier...watch the blood on the ground.
It dries and turns brownish.
O_O
THAT is detail.
What lag?
