Either way im not buying into this. If Sony want me to play games in 3D maybe they should give me the TV. Considering I have spent over £3000 on their TV tech in recent years I cant see any reason to do it all again
Thats due to ports, generally a game made for ps3 and ported 360 runs better on ps3. However when a game is designed with both in mind from ground up PS3 comes out on top. The Blu-ray does help, However it actually all comes down to the fact that the PS3 has higher constant performance, the 360 does have higher peak performance but this can only be implemented in cut scenes etc. Made irrellivent by the fact that all the best cut scenes are pre rendered and are better than standard cut scenes ...
Japanese games FTW, If you want westernized games go play CoD like every other gaming sheep out there. DONT try to tell the KINGS of game developers to follow in your, frankly appaulling, example. Beside the fact they know how to tell a story, I have had more glitches in a single western dev game than I have had in EVERY jap game put together. Dont follow that example.

Nintendo wont use cell but it will use IBM no doubt, PS4 will use cell or similar to cell tech. Cant see Sony angering devs again with new tech since people are finally beginning to understand how to use the cell
The game is actually pretty good, battle mechanics arent great, disappointingly dont even scratch the surface of HS battle mech which was....well, better than this gen deserves, hence the game being so short. But as for the world your in, and the story this is a great game. And one thing they nailed was the one thing almost every other dev messes up. Characters most people will come to like, even if you start off hating them from the demo itself
For the first time ever I agree with schafer. Just hope his next games have nothing to do with brutal legend or anything that feels like an Emos version of Spyro
I hope this is better than the first. Dont get me wrong it was a good game, However the tech is being wasted a bit in the first, Havok, Euphoria and DMM is the best tech combination out there right now, just a pity DMM wasnt implemented well in the first game.

Because I have a 360 and I want games developed for the system that dont involve me waving around like an idiot, I have a Wii for that already. I wouldn't usually care, but when I bought a console just to be abandoned a few years later I have a right to want this product to fail. Its not a hate for MS, or a love for Sony, But a longing for MS to develop first party games that arent for Kinect or WP7

Let me just correct you, GT5 has superior car models, and graphics, and runs a perfect 60fps, Forza runs 30fps so not as smooth as you may think, And is pretty much on rails, I still play forza but it is VERY unrealistic, Turning circles are utter bull and physics used for tyre-road traction are appaulling. Driving slow in forza is like driving an evoIX at 2MPH, especially turning circles.
GT5 is way above forza, if you dont like it, dont hate on it for things that are cle...
