I really hope so, as much of a letdown as far cry 2 was in some aspects, I felt it had some really big merits. The engine interested me, just watching the dynamic world around me was great, only wish I could have used to to better my abiity more than it was possible.

A whole game using 100 billion polygons isnt actually that much when you put it into perspective, take many other games where we have known polygon figures and tally them together, then count in all other textures etc.

What console? I got my copy for 360 and although I had a few issues (getting stuck on invisible objects) I never actually had a single freeze and I beat it about 3 times, purchased on release day.

My concern as for the devs right now is for Team Ico, they have been working ages on The Last Gaurdian, and they are based at the very top of Sony Studios. Not really, as the guy above said, resources, but also this has been used before on both 360 and PS3 games, so both would be capable of tesselation meaning the 'gap' would be the same.
That said UE is normally a factor in me not buying a game, I cant stand the look of UE3, and multiplatform games run awful on it on both consoles anyway. I have plenty of UE3 attrocities for both 360 and PS3, The engine is the problem, not the console
Actually it looks like the pod is planned to record you as you test it to put you into the next advert to me, Im not sure about in the US but in UK we have an advert that consists of people testing the 3DS and being recorded.
