just wait and buy the game, 1 song on the demo and you beleive they changed the whole theme. Its drum n bass, I got my copy early, trust me if anything the drum n bass is more core audience now than it ever used to be
The music is drum n bass actually, Not really much rock now but its done by 3 pretty well known DJ's. The strings bit from the demo is just one of the songs, A remix by Noisia I think so still technically drum n bass
The demo isnt that great. Just finished the game though and it actually is pretty good. For anyone who is worried that cars and bikes all use the same routes, Dont be, they still have advantage routes to take.
The game certainly isnt slow though and neither are the graphics bad in any way at all. Its a much more complete package than MS 1 or 2. To give a run down.

Agreed. the point this stand out the most is running games on a computer not quite capable and checking between directX and openGL I find.

I personally dont hate it and its not that I dont care for it either. I have played too many shooting games this gen and most of them FPS.
Its not that I hate all military shooters but now I need some real elements that stand out in the game. Theere are a few im looking into this year, but I personally feel that militay shooters REALLY struggle to bring anything new enough to the table to entice me anymore.

Honestly thought square-enix would be better off opening this new studio to cater particularly to the new handhelds. Next home consoles could be a while still.
That said I also think this has some real strategy behind it. Maybe this time they will not take so long to reach the new consoles. And to be honest I dont feel the white engine is out of date at all. I imagine it could easily be upgraded to suit the next gen. So who knows, This could be a VERY clever idea

Was fuming when I found my copy could not play on my xbox. Kept the game through 3 replacements and still never found one that would run it. Never expected that problem from a game before

Yeah thats my only quarrel with the ps3 controller is the triggers. I find when playing a racing game my fingers start to ache because the triggers are very hard sprung. I use the wheel for GT5 anyway but on arcade racers it gets annoying.
