The author presents his opinons well in comparing his likes and dislikes about the PS4 vs the PS3. The problem is in how the title and picture does not match the contents of the article. That problem is common now as internet video game jounalism seems to be sinking lower and lower.
Gta 3, Vice City, and Gta 4 all have " Stories" add on that play as seperate stand alone games. Gta 3 , Vice City, SA , Gta 4, and Gta 5 are all in different locations or completely different versions and hd instead of sd cartoony graphics. All of those stories games suffered from how they were released. Gta 3 and Vice City Stories ported from PSP also had poor graphics on PS2 and was not released on xbox. I disagree that R* did not think online would be a success. How big it became and how much money Shark Cards has provided probably even surprised R*. However R* knew online would be popular and the overall economic design of online was to sell Shark Cards. The free dlc always adds expensive new cars and property. Lots and lots of players skip the long play times needed to earn in game money by exchanging their real money for game money.

What i have played and system in order of like: FC3-PS3, FC4-PS3, FC1-PS3, FC Primal-PS4, FC2-PS3.
For me FC3 is in my top 5 of last gen games, and top 10 overall. FC3 also more than made me forget about how good FC2 could have been. FC4 is more FC3 fun and the classic FC1 is enjoyable. Primal has some fun and interesting play. However on my PS4 i do not like the graphics of Primal. God rays, haze, and orange lighting are too often overdone and just ruin the image.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Mario All Stars, Baseball Simulator, and Beavis and Butt Head would be nice. However with how the first mini played out i really have no interest in getting my desire dashed by shortages and followed by cancellation.
The PS2 Reservoir Dogs game was some stupid fun. Especialy with cheat codes. If this version is good i hope it comes to consoles.
Overall game map size just needs to fit with the story and intended game play. Gta 4 vs Gta 5 , for example, is different map sizes and content for the 2 different stories and play potential. Gta 5 is also a larger world for all of the optional free roam and online play.
I have not played HZD but i have played Fallout 4. The game map of Fallout 4 feels larger than it is. Density, content, blocked views, and on foot travel all worked for me to provide a good map size.
Gta 3 is special, and was my 1st PS2 game purchased when i purchased my first PS2 console back in 2002. However i like Liberty City Stories on PS2, 2006, more. The camera is way better, the story is more interesting, there are fun repeatable side stuff, and Toni Cipriani is more fun then Claude.
Liberty City Stories does have poor graphics even for PS2. An hd updated PS4 version would be a welcome addition to the PS2 on PS4 library.
Buying products in short supply and high demand just for the purpose of a resale for a profit is not new and occured even in those ancient times before the internet.
This tactic by Gamestop will alienate many of their customers. The message from Gamestop to their customers is " We think you are stupid".
Although i have no interest in this content i think the younger players, 14 and under, and those that want to do pvp most of the time will enjoy it. Which is a large percentage of those playing gtao.
Gtoa is a large game with players with various interests. So all activities will probably not appeal to all players.
The photo is not very subtle and supported 360 games owned, physical or digital, do not need purchased again to play on xbone. What all the features the Scorpio will have is only speculation at the present.

The original PS3 fat 60GB was not overpriced when considering what it featured and did not have as high of a failure rate the cheaper, less featured xbox 360 had when launched in 2005. The wii was cheaper, sold a gazillion units, and played Zelda and Mario, but not AAA multiplat games like Gta 4, Gta5, Fallout 3, New Vegas, Far Cry 3, ect,ect,ect.

I played the original and remember each level was the same but faster. It got real fast after maybe the 3rd level. A real quarter eater. I think it faded fast as many other arcade games that were more fun were releasing. Never played the Playstation version.
Total Overdose is an excellent example of a stupid fun game. Don't take it serious or compare it to other games and you may have a lot of stupid fun like i have.
An hd version of TO would be a good addition to PS2 games on PS4.
Offering 7 day free trials without a credit card would be a good start. Having an overview with more information posted in the store would be a big help. Also the PSN store has nothing about a $100 a year subscriptions. Also added dlc seems not to be available. However because of the lack of detail offered that is a grey area and just leaves me to guess if seperate paid for dlc is compatible.

Playing video games streamed is not the same as watching streamed video. We all also know that playing games downloaded or from physical copies on dedicated consoles and other hardware is well established. Streaming is not established, have limited libraries, and does not perform as well as if downloaded and played from a hard drive.
The future may be all streaming/downloading rental services, and that future may be close. However not close enough to not have a PS5 released...
I have been Sony since the PS2, but the Scorpio is on my radar. Features and how close it is to next gen is what interests me. Right now almost all about the Scorpio is only speculations.
