It was the same with inFamous and the Uncharted 2 beta. I wasn't interested in Crackdown at first but when I played it I was hooked, had to get it day one and of course Halo 3 beta. ;)

Don't know whether this game will have it exactly but FFXI has cross-platform play and a few other non-MMO titles do as well.
Last time I checked, year-to-date increases for a console is a good thing. And last time I checked Sony is still losing money on every console... slim included. Last time I checked, Sony remains in the red as well.
Being in the red doesn't bode well with investors. Microsoft on the other hand is making profit, although not much but profit is profit, and has yearly growth. Good news for Xbox owners and investors all around.

I was surprised myself that after so long there's still no trophies. As for R&CF, I played and played hoping for at least one trophy and NOTHING! True story.

That's a negative. Halo is played more competitively than Counter Strike. And Counter Strike may have been the longest running online but doesn't have 1/2 the players online.

it will be a good choice for the gamers. These games look very similar from what I've seen and if creating two versions, with the 360 one not being gimped down to be equal on the PS3, then I'm all for it. But if they don't take advantage of the 360 in noticeable ways, then this will be a pointless decision (again, IF it's true).
