-Negative. They used the COD2 engine(by IW), look it up. They did the same with World At War and now MW2's updated engine(with data streaming) for BlackOps. They've never really made their own engine. Not hating on Treyarch, they're quite competent, but just saying...

You know, the structure is hard to get at first but then you realize the game has a lot more depth and customization that Codies' other games didn't, so it's worth it.
And in order to get first place in a race you actually have to be good whether on normal or hard. ;) Got first place on my second race.

Jetlian is right. Look at the 2nd & 8th sets. Textures become clear as you roll over to 360 version. To be fair, other sets look exactly the same.

In Mafia's defense, it did have some of the most realistic settings in a city I've seen since GTAIV. Seemed like they actually took some time out to render a real life city with every nook & cranny.
