Trust me traveler, you're not the only one wanting a new/different MGS game. It's obvious this hurt the fanboys(ps3-diehard) because it's also coming out on Xbox, true gamers are ecstatic nonetheless.
Shadow Complex was downplayed by the Sony fans. SC is already the best Xboxlive title as we know it. Coming this summer. sony fans know they would rather play Shadow Complex than that 2D overrated yawnfest Littlebigplanet.
I wouldn't say glitchfest, more like pop-infest or screentearfest but even those weren't game-breaking.
They did improve the visuals of the first one from that cartoony look to a more polished/detailed gritty look which is a plus(one of my complaints from the 1st one), multiplayer component also a plus(another wish I had fulfilled for the sequel).
I just get turned off by the whole popularity of it, maybe because like when a band gets big I stop listening to them because everybody else is, I don't know. We'll see if they show something else that would peak my interest. Something...

1st place last two gens and now in 3rd this gen. I don't disagree but I do disagree with the notion of "best looking game on any platform" by Naughty Dog. Arrogance at its finest.
The more footage I see of Uncharted 2 the more unimpressed I become. Granted, not the worst looking game but not the best either. Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and even Forza 3 were the best lookers along with U2. God of War, FFXIII/XIV, were meh. Great games in their own right but not mindblowing. Sorry, just my opinion.

Original 3G was said to be averaging @1.5mbps, perhaps spiking @3.0mbps. 7mbps is nothing to sneeze at, it's what my current connection at home is. To have that speed on a handheld phone is nothing short of astounding.
