I disagree. The interface is amateur and there's no way people will stick with it, especially cuz of the freezing.

Oh how the series has changed since 999...Akane and Junpei aren't even playable characters. Instead you get some guy Carlos, a weird kid in a helmet, and Diana (she's probably the best as it is a connection to a previous game)...I haven't played it but skeptical of the new characters. I want a JunpeixAkane ending.
not really. no man's sky, the last guardian, some great vr, other titles they showed...they killed it this year. plus gears will have issues. and not to mention horizon zero dawn.

LOLOL. If Tomb Raider was so unique and special it wouldn't have died. Uncharted didn't need to capitalize on anything, they had Naughty Dog as their developer. Tomb Raider didn't "sell out", it got with the times. It was a smart move. Still nothing in comparison to the masterpiece which is Uncharted 4, but a smart move.
You could still get GOTY and be a solid game, but it doesn't mean that you're a great game...in my experience at least. My observations. They usually get it right.
the list is way biased towards JRPGs. not that I don't like them, but, there's a reason why witcher 3 was like GOTY
