completely disagree. plenty of fun games out there. maybe not in the way Nintendo's games are, but fun nonetheless.
everyone's been saying it's going to be BO4. the game wasn't even supposed to be a CoD game they are just slapping CoD on there in order to make more $$$$$. switch version interests me, wonder if it happens.
I like 2D mario the best and Mario and Yoshi's Island are incredible. The FF games Is really like and I'm glad there are some RPGs on the SNES classic. I just wish it had chrono trigger. there's no excuse not to have it.
I wish dreamcast survived. gaming would be forever changed if it did. PS1 sold so much and had so many amazing games, it's above the PS4 for now at least.
no it won't. it's a great console, but it will always be a secondary console for those who own a PS4 and XB1. or just one of them.
the switch remasters are fine, just like the ps4 ones were and even some of the xbox ones like gears 1. no one complains about mario kart 8 and zelda is technically a port of the wii u version. the ports are good games and include new content, whatever. also splatoon 2 uses the assets from the first i think and no one says anything about that.
the remasters were actually really good for PS4. I'm glad they did kingdom hearts again and FFX/X-2 again on the ps4 and a few others. there's nothing wrong with that. but it doesn't even matter that's what the author i think is missing and i think you may agree. it doesn't matter now because that was then, now, at least sony, is coming out with all these awesome exclusives and original content. and yeah remastering some amazing games like shadow of the colossus.
xbox is so far behind this generation it doesn't even matter. the switch will surpass it soon and sony is killing them. they should go back to PCs.
if remasters count, then FFX blows it out of the water. it's okay but turn based RPGs are way better.
Zelda was great but the story was non-existent. In that respect, Skyward Sword was better. GOTY will either be Battlefront II or Horizon Zero Dawn, or maybe even persona 5. Battlefront as long as the campaign is actually as good as advertised.
I like the hardlight. MIDA needs to be nerfed.
Odyssey was so amazing at E3. The wait was worth it!!!!!
PS4 has the best games this year. by far. HZD or Persona IMO. Destiny depending on certain things.

Xenoblade really surprised me. I'm super stoked for that. Hopefully it keeps that 2017 release date. Holidays or September would be perfect IMO. I personally liked X more than the original and wanted a sequel to that, but anything by monolith is golden in my book.
zelda, new mario, other killer first-party games...honestly Odyssey is going to blow 3D world out of the water and the Wii U never had a proper Zelda title of its own. TP launched on the Wii and look how that turned out.
right now ps4 for sure, but as the holidays come around I think the switch will have an uptick. I'm really excited.
Xenoblade is a real sleeper. I love that series
At least for me, I don't want to buy another xb1. It's expensive. Hopefully Scorpio does well though bc it just helps the industry
Regardless if it's great or not, it will never be looked on the same level of some of the games of last year. Lat year had such a good lineup.
