You do know what hardware is for right? Not just graphical fidelity. In fact, it's the physical machinery that runs the virtual software. Actually graphics are determined by more than just hardware. It needs that software to optimize for the hardware and therefore give us the graphics we love. However, when you don't have software optimized for new hardware then you run into issues that result in poor game quality

In what comic book or movie has the avengers ever used cover. Maybe Hawkeye but I cannot find a single reason why this should be cover based.

Why is there cover based mechanics? This isn't supposed to be a shooter. It's Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Spidey and more. Not a single one takes cover in battle. How does that make sense!!! I'm so confused!!!

But do you think valve would be willing to risk all that so we would be pleased? The problem is that gamers today are toxic when it comes to their favorite franchises. Remember mass effect 3? I feel like they won't do it because they don't want backlash and death threats.

But it's not PC quality in a console. If anything it's a mid-range PC, but it is not a high end PC style console. On PC I can actually play in 4k and 60 fps (even more if I cranked my card), but the X is just checkerboarding just like the Pro. It's a waste for a so called "PC_quality games on console." If you want to play true 4k then get a PC. I also don't see a significant performance jump with that bottleneck CPU they decided to go with.

Just release it in a way that it's like half life but not half life. However the PC community is good at causing havoc if threatened so valve may get screwed if they attempt to disban. (I hope the PC community causes havoc cause valve has never given a clear answer to half life episode 3 and I want a clear answer not the wushu washy crap)

You know what? Yes. I know the PS was the console of origin, but this is a fantastic game and I really would love more to experience it. So yes it should be released. And for those who own a PlayStation console can play the others or simply read up on the story. I still think they should get it and it would have been even better if they got the first two games as well.

Metal Gear got mainstream on the PS1 with MGS. In fact I never even knew Metal Gear was even a game since I never owned a MSX. So that one doesn't count. Final fantasy I can understand and it too would piss me off. Street fighter isn't my kind of game so I don't care, but again it would piss me off if I were. I just know that a lot of PS players didn't buy the PS4 release since they screwed over a very huge fan base.

I bought a PS4 because I had a PS3. Never liked Xbox 360 and always knew it was overrated. Anyways I now am a PC gamer and could care less about this console.

Funny you say all this! I have a gaming pc with triple 1080 ti and a 4k curved monitor. Guess what? I play witcher 3 in ACTUAL 4k with over 100 fps at ultra settings. Your sh**box can't do that so please give me a reason to drop 500 on a console with no exclusives?

It got flak because it was never a timed exclusive in the past. In fact, it was Playstation that made it mainstream. They basically got greedy, took the money from microsoft, and fu**** over an entire player base. I was not going to purchase a damn Xbox to play one fu***** game.
