But where's the mud?
I find this genuinely saddening. Sony continue to allocate resources to their failed endeavours such as Move and the destined-to-be-failure, Wonderbook. I really think they're out of touch with their consumers.
I remember the first time I laid eyes on Burnout Legends in the form of the bullshots they used to hype the game. The bullshots used were using the Burnout 3 models and the game itself turned out to have a lot less polys and no motion-blur effects. I still put a lot of time into the game, but the bullshots took some of the shine off it.
Hopefully this Playstation Mobile thing takes off.
Might be an odd comparison to make, but I'm absolutely certain that open-world games can work on the vita after playing Gravity Rush. I would recommend that game to every Vita owner. It deserves to sell well.
@mewhy32 What have geese got to do with it?
Selling Vita at a loss (I think. Sure I read this somewhere), so make money back on accessories and games. The question is, is the market still demanding a portable games system?
That can be broken, so I think on the 360 version it has been shot through.
Exactly. The appearance of the game, overall, gives off a rather 'clinical' look that aids the presentation, IMO. Those jaggy shadows and unnecessarily darkened scenes only look to make the game imitate every other damned game that's released, rather than preserve the games somewhat unique look.
I'm not going to talk down the work of this guy. I fully appreciate that this is also a work-in-progress. I mean, look at the success of the ENB mod on GTAIV. With a b...
Dare I say that this looks a bit ugly compared to my somewhat lofty expectations?
It doesn't appear to look much better than GranTurismo-psp.
Hopefully the final version will crisp up nicely.
Don't get me wrong, I'm going to be getting the console version (PS3), and it did look nice. It's just that all the hype surrounding the visuals was created by the early showings of the PC version.
As long as the game plays the same, or similarly, it'll be fantastic. I'm still playing the hell out of Bad Company 2.
Meh. I prefer the more consistent look of the original.
Can see in the second video that the 'B' Button on the Xbox360 controller is used to open the gate. It's about time this version surfaced.
It's just a shame that the consoles can't hold up to the incredibly impressive PC version.
I like the one with Call of Duty: World at war on it, brandishing its '15' BBFC Rating, when it's for somebody's 12th birthday.
I didn't say anyone had played it (though some definitely have), just that there is a game based around rioting, etc.
Nor am I defending the article or idea that video games spark these kinds of things. Blaming video games is no excuse for the government having gone soft on these types of imbeciles.
State of Emergency.
So... lifting the trailer, including flash player, straight from Gamespot and posting it on your own site, with no included write-up or anything journalistic, for hits... Poor show.
What?
BFBC2 had no anims for enter/exits.
I will almost certainly prefer BF3, but this does look like quite the thrill-ride. I only get CoD for the campaigns anyway.
Yeahhh! Belly-button battles!
