I disagree. Crysis was on an island nobody cared about and fighting the aliens was the least fun part of that game.
Crysis 2 is more focused, the enemies are way more fun to fight this time around and the streamlining of the powers is a natural evolution... Plus the NY setting is simply awesome.

1) article is not titled as fact, its a statement of opinion.
2) If you have a better way to track sales besides VG chartz, then please let us all know.
3) It doesn't matter how much either game sells, it's obviously fun to pit the two games against each other and watch how each are recieved by gamers, and the author thinks that Halo Reach will not be as well received.

The 170 million figure for Halo 3 was US sales only. The 200 mil figure shown today for Reach includes US and European sales.
Do the math and learn to read.
The authors link to the kotaku post clearly shows that the day one sales in the US were less for Reach than Halo 3. MS report for Reach includes Europe, where as MS's same report for Halo 3 just included US.
MS was trying to make the number bigger for Reach by including Europe's sales...
