Lol so we disagreeing with facts. That’s funny
I would love a PASBR2 regardless what the people who says it’s to much like smash it was a great alternative. I had so much fun playing PASBR and I think at the end of the day... thatssss all that matters
Only 2 of the 5 current games have 4 player co-op. Judgement and 3. The remastered for Xbone didn’t even get updated with 4 player co-op.
Microsoft isn’t just playing buddy buddy with Sony though. They are playing buddy buddy with Nintendo as well. So, it sounds like they are trying to play nice with the market.
Headline should be “Sony is benefitting from a well balanced infrastructure of gaming amenities.”
Currently Sony is the only company that offers everything the competition does.

The crazy thing is I keep hearing people say MS wants to be a streaming service.... yet everything in Gamepass is a download. I haven’t seen a single option to stream anything in gamepass. Am I missing something?
I’m aware of that... which is why I said I’m excited to have a system level update that improves it. I’m not knocking HDR I’m simply stating that my TV I predominantly use made it terrible for me. It can’t be universally the same if the devices aren’t all universally implementing it the same. So, again.... looking forward to a utility that gives me more control so I can properly experience it.
I didn’t know the internet was still talking about this
I’m sure it’s the TV as it’s a 2013 4K HDR LG, and there aren’t any methods to calibrate on it besides turning it on and setting the type to warm, vivid etc.
So, implementing a HDR calibration at the system will work wonders for my set up. To be able to see HDR in better standings will be a great change for my overall experience.
That would be great! I am not a fan of HDR as it is not universally handled the same and sometimes it make's it impossible to see. I had to turn it off on Horizon because night time was damn near pitch black.
Additional feature Pro has over base PS4:
1.higher resolution games(from 1080p-4K) the system can double the output.
2. Better preforming games at 1080p 60 with supersampling.
3. Better performance for PSVR
4.boost mode to increase performance of games unpatched to take advantage of the pros extra utilities.
It’s overall a better PS4 and the features that it has has not been properly investigated until recently and only on select favorit...
I think I’m just seeing the X1X crowd flooding in taking this topic in a different direction. No one that disagreed with me really gave any reasoning behind disagreeing that DF has failed to give proper analysis to these devices. Especially this gen over last gen.
Nor has anyone given a proper reasoning on why the PRO isn’t a technical leap compared to X when even the X doesn’t play all games in 4K 60 and forces higher resolutions all the time.
They are ...
That’s not an excuse at all, for a full year they ignored most anything the PRO could do. And thinking it’s not a huge leap to improve all base games in their native resolution AND increase the resolution almost double? That’s a pretty huge leap and I really don’t understand why people undermine it just because the X came.
I think it’s simply amazing that the pro has been on the market for about 3 years now. And the biggest “tech analyst” on the web are JUST now looking into the additional features and perks of the PRO. But the X came out and within 6 months they were ALL over every single bit of the device and what it can do.
Why do you think that is?
It’s funny that people really can’t get besides themselves to understand some people’s hype fades. I’m not saying the game looks bad, I’m just saying it doesn’t look like what I thought it would be. I expected an action titles similar to other platinum games like devastation or revegenace.
But this is something else, something I’m not willing to jump into right now until further development. When I do get the game I might love it, but as for now my hype has died from the sh...
King_Noctis that’s not true at all, the vast majority of Nintendo games are looking good. However, there are some that just pulled people from the trailer before gameplay was revealed and now it’s not intriguing them anymore. That should be expected as even games like Days Gone had people dropping off
So what you are saying is in order to think this game looks fun you have to have a switch? Or are you saying that it’s a prerequisite to think everything on switch is good BECAUSE you have a switch?
After watching the gameplay of astral chains I am less inclined to want to play it. I don’t think it’s the type of game I thought it would be, and what I’ve been seeing is not looking to be my style. Trash collecting and pedestrian fetch quest feels like it’s going to have a lot of mundane task that will take me out of the core gameplay I want from it. This has gone from a system seller for me to a wait and watch.
@Lon3wolf it really wouldn’t of made any difference. At this point in time after 5 years the install base of Xbone is pretty resolute in what to expect. Games like MHW, KH3 and other JRPGs are anywhere from 800k-1.5 million, while PS4 is on average 5 million sales for these types of games.
That 800k-1.5 if they really want these games if they jumped to PS4 they would easily buy the game and it would actually make production Cost cheaper for these publishers.
