Meh, I just bought the One X and have game pass. Put my S in the boys room and that’ll bide me over on the Xbox front for the next 3-4 years since the next two years won’t see a series X exclusive.
Given MS track record their best games are released in the first 3 years a console releases with a drip of franchise spam the last 3-4 years.
Their new studios have a lot to change in my views from the last 3 console gens they’ve had.
I just tried it out yesterday on game pass, it’s interesting but idk, without some friends to hype it and we dissect it together it’s not interesting enough for me.
We are going to see a lot of beginning games for PS5 and SX that won't look "true" Next Gen, as the first wave of games will be devs figuring the landscape and learning new tricks. The first party developers will be the ones that show off the possibilities and lead the charge as they always do. However, to have games that hit Native 4k 60fps and ray tracing is one of the biggest feats that will strike a nice entry to next gen.
I'm more so interested in the...
Excited for this! But I need to finish NiOh and Doom first before FF7R then I’ll pick this up after.
Game has been extremely addictive, and they massively improved on the multiplayer components with expedition. So much easier to get with friends, but also elevates the difficulty and adds more enemies. It’s great
Now more then ever, Kojima’s used real world events in a game and showed us the world of the great deliverers. This Virus is our BT and Amazon workers are our Great deliverers!lol
Neither look more appealing until I see that game palette and price. At the end of the day they BOTH are 4K machines, both have ray tracing, both have rdna2, both have ssd with expandable external drives.
If Sony do BC anything like Xbox handled theirs(which they to only had 100 games BC with 360) and it naturally expands so be it. I was excited every other week/month when they announced a game I owned on 360 was BC on my xbone. I still prioritize my newer games but I was e...
I’m going to let the games speak volumes more. Having a prettier version of a game that doesn’t play well doesn’t do anything for me. I’m over that point in my gaming lifespan. I’m looking forward to seeing what the games will be like, how will they play, will it be fun AND look good?
Currently we know for 2 years this system is going to play games that are built with old hardware in mind as well. To me that means they will have the same gameplay with just more particles. T...
Most people who were on the teraflop bandwagon were just impressed with the substantial growth over ps3-4. These days as this gen went on we all learned that regardless the flops the games were essentially the same experience even if at a slightly lower resolution.
That’s why some people don’t care about the difference between doom on switch vs doom on ps4. The core of the games (gameplay) is what matters and worked.
Now going into next gen the marketing ...
This is the same response people had when MS announced BC and they only had 100 games available from 360. Now everyone’s praising MS about the range of (still limited) BC games on xbone which translate over to series X. And it’s all “disappointing” at least the New consoles are doing BC and have room for improvement not just through emulation but down to the very hardware components they are built on.
@meka it was on the Vita so I don’t see why it couldn’t be on the Switch. And the switch can have a closer to console experience then the Vita has so.
It is on PS4, its just localizing on Xbox one first from what I remember. Which is silly and makes sense I guess. If the PS4 coding is already existent and works then work on the ports and make sure it’s good and works for the world wide release. Seeing how Sega struggled to even bring it outside of Japan
I wonder what that OS is like on that SSD after formatting. You lose 7% on format and then HOPEFULLY they abandoned the 3 OS they did with Xbox one and just properly coded the OS to do these functions instead.
The amount of space xbone chewed on the stock drive was ridiculous and with the average game being 25-50 gbs and the big titles being 100 that stock drive would be decimated.
Glad to see improvements though as it’s great to see new tech in consoles...
I don’t want to talk about this.... I’m in to deep
It would really work in an Arkham Asylum style with more aerobatics. Then towards the end have a hell map that plays at the pace of shadow of war but with chains allowing some attack on titan/Spider-Man traversal and action.
You must not have downloaded the emulator and seen how spotty a lot of these games are to get running.
This is smart, I remember in a previous interview Sony said all exclusives go multi platform eventually. So, why not let their previous gen titles hit PC going forward gaining more interest to players as the next gen hits. PC players will be happy to get the older game custom but be hugely tempted by the newer version that they would want to continue on.
And, if you have enough patience to wait it’s no harm no foul.
It’s funny because I really enjoyed this game, 13-2, 15 and so many people in forums hated them. I had a blast though
They are re-releasing Xenoblades again? I have bought it on Wii, 3ds and now I will just wait for the TRULY definitive version later.
Just finished my 1st play through of RE3 Jill was badass. I wonder if this counts as my 5 play through since I beat the ps classic 4 times. Look forward to playing through it a few more times!
