First thing to actually see what type of game it is...
Sure do
Lol “free”
Not surprising at all
Switch had breath of the wild and Mario with a card board box game for nearly a year before its games started droppings. Yet gaming media made it seem like the must buy best value on the market compared to the existing.
But let’s say Sony the company releasing more games then the comp on a new and old system is not quantity and quality.

Competitive games don’t make up the majority of gaming. And if you are elite you will play where ever the best place for that game is to play that particular game. And playing on an Xbox at 900p 120fps isn’t going to give you that edge except over other Xbox players.
Besides for competitive games on console, they will always lock it to an average to maintain fairness. Unless you for some reason want to play apex legends on switch with worse graph...
Disagree, I’ve been playing games from 30-200 plus and it hasn’t changed my enjoyment of a game at 30 vs 60 plus.
If the game wasn’t good to me to begin with then I was never going to enjoy it pretty or super fluid.
But one thing I will always want is for it to be 1440p to 4K. Ghost of Tsushima I took visuals 4K 30 over 1080 60. When I started playing it on ps5 4K 60 was great but doesn’t change my lack of urgency/interest in finishing the game.

It’s funny how they keep stressing the exact sacrifice I said I didn’t want to have the FPS boost. Where in another article people kept swearing it maintained higher one x resolutions which is just false.
If I want to play a last gen game at 900p-1080p at 60fps I’ll do that on my gaming laptop which I can easily get 1440p 60-120fps.
The base coding of these games really steal away the visual clarity. And, as Rich said, it’s hard to choose between higher ...
The games have gone from fixed camera angle overhead, to third person to on rails to now FPS. I think it’s safe to say... Resident Evil has always done what every it wants to deliver the experience it thinks is best for the time.
I gave a C because it still has 3rd party support. And the support is consistent, if it had just the medium and 3rd parties were releasing poor versions of the games. I would definitely give it an F.
But, that’s not the case, in reality the system still has games say for instance a Switch owner can’t get. And if someone really didn’t care at all for the ps5 games(which is a fair assumption because some people don’t) then a switch and Xbox could be all they need.

I have had the series X and PS5 for a little over 2 months now. I have been playing both pretty extensively and can start to give an honest evaluation.
Both systems do BC pretty great, the fact that the Ps5 runs things automatically at PS4 pro levels is a great segway from pro to 5. Definitely give it a A for that. I’m not using it a ton but I’m using it enough.
Series X having the boost to select games in BC in my eyes brought titles that were already la...
I’ve had the same issues with Nier Automata. I had one time after a month not playing the game broke. Then after a few days in QR I tried it was fine. Let my niece play fort nite and then it had the most awkward break where the screen had white speckles then it just crashed. Had to quit the game.
Only thing I can compare QR to is rest mode and I’ve never had issues like this with rest mode. So, really hope they fix this as I leave a lot of my games on pause only to come bac...
As I’ve gotten older ive learned that depending on how much I like a game depends on how much effort I put into towards the trophy. Recently i platinum Spider-man, Miles morales and outriders.
Mostly because their trophies were smartly designed towards the gameplay and not just useless tasks.
If Spider-Man had a trophy to grind out all those feats. I would’ve never gone for the platinum.
If days gone had one for killing 10k zombies wit...
I platinumed this game, had so much fun.
If you are a fan and haven’t bought this yet, you are a terrible fan.
Legit, I’m really not digging the gaming journalist or community at all these days. It’s starting to feel like when you are an adult watching kids/teens. Just not my scene at all anymore.
Looking forward to being able to manage it. Found an awkward glitch when using it, I started nier on it in March and left it in quick resume. Came back this week and it left me at the same point and I was like sweet.
But then auto save kicked on and the game broke. I noticed it was still trying to save to the March time stamp. So it more the. Likely wasn’t syncing with the system clock and failed.
Something I can see being a problem since I jump around an...
@ProLogy
I’ll wait for more tech analysis on these new additions( although I’m sure we won’t get a full analysis it’s to many games.) but again as far as i have seen it doesn’t always retain the profile and there’s no evidence to suggest it will always retain higher resolution since MS strictly focuses on marketing the FPS increases without declaring the resolutions.
This shouldn’t be an issue making this statement as it’s a reasonable thought process. I’...
Every review I have seen has said they all take a hit. As for me the ones that I would play all take a hit as I’m not going to play every game on this list just because they had a FPS boost.
This is something I have never been fond of with Xbox. Knowing I couldn’t play my games offline while my sons played without checking in first or making my series X the main while offline THEN after a couple of days I had to check back in to play those games!? Bruh STAHP IT! MS buggin with that
