So they shouldn’t try and broaden their horizons and expand their franchise to find a worthwhile gameplay to fill our times with?
I’m getting it, this is simple though. You want it? Buy it. You don’t want it? Don’t buy it
I’m only sticking with one of the services starting next years and it’s not GP, barely getting use outta them as it stands but it’s extremely comparable with the two services but PS offerings is cheaper
The fact that MS has lured me into their ecosystem twice now with empty promises has just left me jaded. I was expecting so many games to hit the last 2 years from perfect dark, fable, avowed and others.
Instead there was 2 years of mediocre games and things I already owned. I’m not praising a service for giving me titles I’ve already owned like dragon quest, persona 5, yakuza franchise, Nier etc. and games like the medium, ascent and outriders aren’t great excuses for the ...
The real crazy notion is thinking that these “fantastic” classics haven’t benefited from the remakes. There’s so many quality of life improvements gaming has achieved that when classics titles get the remake they feel like completely different games.
I would definitely LOVE to see improvements made to some low budget titles. Like actually finish Never Dead and tighten its mechanics up. Take Quantum theory and make it more than gears with a twist.

It’s why I just can’t take gaming media seriously, I need it because there’s no other way to get info on y favorite hobby. But it sucks because they are awful and are huge panderers.
The games that get clout and recognition aren’t even typically that good. Personally, I’ve never found Bayonetta a good franchise. The first one had the biggest controversies from frame rate to loading to graphical differences.
And the story was absolutely trash with no cohe...
I’m aware of they higher frame rate for next gen. I have tested out on steam deck and my 3080. I was able to get 60 everything low steam deck 800p but still saw drops.
I’m sure ps5 and series X can handle 60 plus especially at 1440p. But I understand they are trying to make sure the experience is sound across the board because of multiplayer.
On PC the environment is host dependent, I’m not so sure series S would stack up because of that.
Except they give an example of how ALL Batman games have been 30 fps with performance drops which is a factual statement. And all of those Batman games got damn near 10s all the time, so why is this an issue now? Especially when it’s overlooked in games like BoTW, Bayonetta, Xenoblade Chronicles, Pokemon S&S, montster hunter rise etc. the standards for a games performance shouldn’t be overlooked just because you like a franchise. I think an 8 perfectly reflects this games score. I
I’m not renewing my gamepass next year
I’m catching this one on sale on PC AFTER I finish god of war, Valkyrie Elysium, gun grave and evilwest
Same thing for Gotham knights, these reviewers are a joke and bias shows heavily.
@mrvux
“ Everything is subjective, not only the narrative (...) except technical aspects which can be objectively proven (resolution, FPS count, number of bugs).”
If you are looking at the graphics from a subjectively bad perspective then you can pick and choose anything you PERSONALLY thinks constitutes bad. As far as I have seen the game graphics hold greatly. I’m playing highest settings on a 3440 X 1440p screen and the detail in buildings and atmosphe...
Literally nothing wrong with those three categories for me right now. Gameplay is solid with a nice variety of characters to choose from. Graphics look fantastic and narrative is subjective. Right now it’s simple Batman’s dead and you are playing as the inheritors of his legacy.
Why do y’all keep acting like games all have phenomenal narrative? I wasn’t going into this looking to cry I went in looking to fight crime, clean up Gotham and have fun.
Playing on pc, using my 3080 Alienware machine people swore was trash machines been amazing. Runs this smooth 60+ and with my Gwynn monitor dont have any screen tearing. Now I can’t speak for the console experience but playing it on my steam deck it runs great as well and that’s 800p 30 so I’m sure 4K 30 high settings is great on consoles.
@rlow1 you mean how Bayonetta 2, 3 have been regulated to a Nintendo exclusive even though they don’t own platinum or the IP? How no more heroes 3 was exclusive to switch for nearly 2 years before hitting other platforms? How ultimate alliance 3 is stuck to switch with no other platform to benefit?
How the medium, the ascent and scorn are all 1 year exclusives to ms? Or perhaps how MS has now cut other people out for future Bethesda’s/zenimax titles except their platform?

About 5 hours in and I have to say nothing about this game feels mediocre from the big sites perspective. I have been having a great time playing with my friend.
Good thing you are you and I am me right?
I picked it up on PC for 40, as long as I’m playing with my buds a 5 is an easy 8 for me.
True but average people don’t buy gaming grade desktops/laptops. They are more inclined to spend 3-600 on a machine which wouldn’t even be functional for VR.
Mid-high end desktops gamers like us are still very much in the 1% of everything.
