Thats funny because these machines stopped being just for games three gens ago. The mass market you speak of only includes you. I for one like using my Xbox One and PS4(when I had it) for whatever I wanted. I want to game, watch movies, listen to music, browse internet, play a blu ray movie, whatever. In the comfort of my nice gaming chair by my setup. And I'm sure Im not in the minority.

Ok theres a problem with your comment. There is no way a regular blu ray will upscale to look exact as a true 4K native source. Link me where upscale 4K and true native 4K are the same. Seems you're the one that doesnt know anything on 4K.
And you say alot of the 4K blu ray players...are just upscaling, not all and the ones that do, say 4K upscale, which are cheaper than real native 4K players. Now you could disagree but just look up UHD players or do some sear...

@death, thats not true. Was I the only one who saw the conference when they were showing some 4K upscale footage and also some 1080p enhancements. So its worth it...also get the system now and then upgrade tv later on. Im not gonna read anymore of these, if you dont have a 4K tv its not worth it. So is a game running on 1080p on a gtx 750 gonna look the same as a game running at 1080p on a gtx 780? Serious question becausr I dont have a PC. But I just want to know.
