You should know what you like and don’t right? Especially if you’ve been gaming for more than 20 years and played every type of game and know every game design. My feelings are almost always spot on. I’m also not a big fan of turn based combat, the only exception to that rule was Persona 5.. somehow it worked for me but this game has dodging, parrying and free aiming and that is an awesome mix that makes it not boring.
Also also i hate when people overhype things it ruins ...
I’ve been hard on this game and i’ve been sh***** on it for days but i was wrong and although i do have a few minor gripes like for example i’m not a fan of it’s visual style that much and the world but whatever i was wrong and this game is great. In fact it could be really special and i hope that feeling doesn’t change until the end credits.

Ugh man i can’t stand them. Lazy game design. Them and those Subnautica survival type games.. and Soulsborne games and it’s clones are getting real close for me as well. I hated Balatro as well.
Remember folks if you don’t know what type of interesting game design and mechanics to put in the game you are making just make it a rougelike.

Man people are really trying to paint this game as being mega successful as a slap to the face to ''haters'' aren't they. Yeah ofc it sold, it's ASSCreed. This game was never going to flop. It probably sold fine for an AC game but the real question is.. is that enough? Nope. It's not.
I haven’t bought a Ubisoft game since 2014 and i don’t plan to change that.

Look i get it Switch is ancient, i hate that fact and i'm so sick of the console and can't wait to get rid of it finally for Switch 2 but you can't deny that this game isn't impressive looking running on such an outdated hardware. We'll find out soon if exclusive Switch 2 games will look just like Switch 1 remasters or something better and more, but judging by that short Mario Kart teaser... ehhhh... hmm i don't know.
It's not a Switch 2 game it's a Switch 1 game. It will be a cross gen game like BOTW was. Switch 2 version will have better framerate, resolution and texture filtering.

Trust me if or when your cynicism levels reach mine after you've seen everything and you see the cracks everywhere, when you have zero respect left for the industry and it's boring slop games they try to sell you for 70(now soon 80 or maybe even 90 dollars lol) you would be singing a different tune.
