Brother why are you simping so hard for Xbox and this undeniably greedy decision that is backfiring and everyone hates it? Like serioulsy how the hell are people like you still around. But you just played it for a bit.. what are the annoyances? Having to actually play the game? If that is the case my advice is to just quit now and play a cinematic game that plays itself cause this game will break you in half.
Do me a favour, play the first game for a bit after you are completely done with Silksong. You will never be able to go back.
Man some of the reviews for Silksong are absolutely fascinating to me and ofc i understand why, it's like the reviewers want to give it a 10 or 9.5 or 9 and they know the game is nothing below that score but they just can't forgive the game for the crazy shit it put them through lol.
For me this is easily the best game of the year overtaking Expedition 33, pound for pound gameplay wise it's just more of a pure video game. Also Metroid Dread was a very good game...

Hm nope. Absolutely not worth giving my 70$ IMO. Especially not for another girl boss revenge story. I swear man they don't know what else to write for women when they put them in these more grounded roles/games.
After almost 50 hours i'm finally at Act 3's doorstep. Crazy game. Crazy good and crazy hard also.

For me it is a 10 and i’m still far from completing it. I feel like i’m playing Elden Ring but in 2D metroidvania. Endless discovery, enemies, bosses and secrets, so much content. The soundtrack is a somber masterpiece. Phenomenal. Hard as balls but phenomenal.
This is still getting patched to this day, let that sink in. That's how broken this game was. You can polish a mediocre mess as many times as you like but it will always be a mediocre mess because at it's core it is unfinished and wonky AF.. and i could feel that playing the campaign.. it's still riddled with weird glitches, unfinished animations and sound effects, dumb ai etc.. all of the signs are still there from that disastrous release day.
I understand that you are frustrated probably (i'm assuming you are playing the game right now) but you need to hang in there. I mean come on BS? Well actually i can't say anything to that cause i called the game much worse things right to it's face in the heat of the moment but you need to perservere, you need to because it's oh so worth it and eventually when you get a hang of it you'll aslo get new abilities that will make you feel like a god and make your struggle fulf...
Hollow Knight is one of my fav games ever and i can tell you that you probably didn't unlock a shortcut somewhere near the boss or didn't find a bench that's closer that will make it easier on you. Also Hollow Knight is like playing a kid friendly Kirby game compared to Silksong.
Seriously Silksong might go down as one of the most challenging games ever made. I did not expect that going in to it.
The frustration and difficulty in this game is diabolical i swear. This damn sure isn't my precious Hollow Knight from 2017. This is a different beast.
Yeah it's a good game, i mean it did something right if it has me going for all 777 bananas in the game cause it's just that fun to play and run around.. however i have more than a couple of issues and gripes with the game unfourtinately. The biggest one was the weird and funky ass framerate and i hated Pauline, especially her cringe and sometimes uncomfortable dialog. Odyssey and Astro (both much better games IMO) did it way better with many things but especially with the characters ...
The first game was only 15$ and it's one of the biggest games with so much to do and explore and Silksong is 19.99$ so by your logic it could be even longer and bigger than the first.
How about just not focus on them at all? Focus on making games like Astro Bot, you know the game everyone loved and won you GOTY instead ridicule and shame.
