I disagree on the island section being underwhelming soo hard. I always thought that take was pure BS even back with the OG Re4 and i think that even more now with the Remake. The island section is awesome and the caslte is overrated.. there i said it. I prefered the castle in the OG it was better there.
You saying that makes me think you haven’t a clue about this game and how stacked and long it can be,especially if you play it on hardcore first and do everything on your first playthrough. It was brutal for me on hardcore and final time count said at the end i finished it in 26-27 hours.. and i immediately wanted to start it up again on NG+ with all my weapons and upgrades on the even harder difficulty Professional. So there you go.

No man far from it, Elden Ring is currently my fav game ever. I’ll still buy the game becase i loved BOTW so much but my hype has died and they failed to impress me with these trailers. It just seems to me by looking at this new game maybe they should have moved on from the BOTW formula. But BOTW was mega successful so …
It looks super rough. BOTW looked better than this, those shadows are horrendous and the image quality seems worse than ever before.
I guess it’s just me but this looks extraordinarely unremarkable, everytime i see TOTK my hype dies down more and more.
The whole game was kind of underwhelming IMO. Slow ass pacing, Atreus sections, no agency, barely any hype, Faye was a useless character, Atreus voice actor's delivery was bland and bad, Ragnarok was not memorable at the end of the game and just one side character died at the end... no stakes at all. Wow. Disappointing game.
The rose tinted glasses are a fascinating thing. The original Ada sounded ''bored'' too that was the intent because Capcom wanted to make her soo cool and mysterious and shit, the difference however is that the original Ada sounded way better being mysterious and bored or her voice actress did.

Oh my god.. wow.. finally something other than just insane combat. It looks absolutely spectacular. Hopfefully the exploration will be amazing and deep.

No point in debating with you on RE franchise since you probably think that RE7 is not an RE game since it’s first person or that RE is not RE if it’s not a slow, convoluted game with crappy fixed camera and tank controls. Ridiculous. Just for the record i like Resi 1 remake (actually playing through it right now until re4 releases on friday) but that game’s design is outdated and ancient history by now. But you can’t deny that the story has goddamn awful pacing ? Also the whole story felt to me like an anti-climax and at the end it felt like barely anything was at stake. I will replay the game cause i want to try to experience it again with a different perspective, i’m just waiting SSM to get off their asses and release the new game plus patch already.
Is it a reach ? We are living in a very stagnant broken era of gaming now where there are rarely any new ideas, games broken at launch and games that are just walking simulators. Ofc there are exceptions and there always will be but come on .. is it a reach for someone to call an expertly made and improved remake of one of the most legendary games ever made the best game on the Ps5 system now ? I personally don’t think so, even though i don’t even agree with his opinion.
No. Dead space remake didn’t redifine anything, it’s the same game from 2008 with couple of improvements and better graphics and that’s it while Re4 offers so much more in comparison as a Remake.
