No it’s not frame pacing that’s a whole different thing but thanks for the tip i’ll try doing that and also i bought the game from the PS Store i will also try deleting it and redownload and reinstall it.

They are frame time spikes i think that's another name for it, it happens when you run around the enviroment and the game constantly loads new areas because there is no load times between areas it's all seamless. Think of Nier Automata on the Ps4 if you played it there and how awful traversing the world was with all those frame spikes, ofc in RE4R it's not that extreme and horrible but it can be very frequent and annoying especially the whole castle section.

I hope there are improvements on the PS5 as well it's where i'm playing. I really think this game is outstanding and infinitely replayable i mean it's close to a masterpiece as you can get but... i kinda despise it at the same time and the reason for that is that goddamn awful traversal stuttering ! But the first game is one of my favourite games ever.. i have no idea what happend with the second game but Rockstar needs to change it’s game design, especially how those main missions are designed. It’s severly outdated. Oh and actually make the gameplay enjoyable and not so slow and clunky.
Red Dead 2 ? Who would ever want to play that slow ass bloated overly long game twice ! Not to mention going through those awfully designed main missions.

To quote Leon from the remake.. Bull***t. It would have made no difference if they made it super camp as the OG or a little bit more serious the game will still be the same awesome and fun experience, the remake is still campy and fun btw and in perfect dose IMO, they nailed the balance.

Oh god yeah the enemies are improved for sure and are much more frightning. The castle was really good in the Remake overall but i was talkling about the layout of the castle being better in the OG and there are cut sections in the remake as well.
No. Dead space remake didn’t redifine anything, it’s the same game from 2008 with couple of improvements and better graphics and that’s it while Re4 offers so much more in comparison as a Remake.
I disagree on the island section being underwhelming soo hard. I always thought that take was pure BS even back with the OG Re4 and i think that even more now with the Remake. The island section is awesome and the caslte is overrated.. there i said it. I prefered the castle in the OG it was better there.
You saying that makes me think you haven’t a clue about this game and how stacked and long it can be,especially if you play it on hardcore first and do everything on your first playthrough. It was brutal for me on hardcore and final time count said at the end i finished it in 26-27 hours.. and i immediately wanted to start it up again on NG+ with all my weapons and upgrades on the even harder difficulty Professional. So there you go.
I love both and the new mainline RE games should stay in first person for at lest one more game that’s why i hated that Capcom for some reason added third person in RE8 .. like why ? What was the point ? It just lost what made the new games unique and different. Re7 is a gem and already such a classic, it’s RE1 of this generation or well the prevous generation i guess i should say and RE8 is bonkers and so fun. Such great games.
