Exactly. They want each version to sell. And to add every developer so far has said "parity" for X1 and PS4 games, look how that has turned out.

I think how a game runs should also be taken into account when makeing a statement like that. Ryse dose look good but dosent run well. I think that should always be taken into consideration.
PS4 is one hell of a system.
Thing is last gen PS3 mostly trailed the 360 buy a couple frames on multiplats, and 360 fans chastised Sony fans over it. Now while nothing really runs 1080p 60fps (Forza but it's not graphicaly demanding) there is a huge gap between the PS4 and X1 that people (and this is lame) are paying back MS fans with the same loving embrace they were given /s. Just a vicious circle.
Well my take is, with the FF13 saga square won't make such an impact and create as many new fans. I'm 32 and was fortunate enough to remember playing FF1 with my dad after school and homework, and playing every US released FF since. Been hooked. People coming into the series for the first time during this time in the FF franchise are being exposed to a transitional period and it's in my opinion only so so and that's ok. I like the 13 series, but I don't love it. Can't ...
That's true but X1 fans kinda rub that game into peoples faces. Hence the backlash.

I'm shaking my head. Just because the game can run 1080p 60fps doesn't give it graphical clout. COD runs at 60fps on a 360. The only reason that game runs at those numbers is because of all the graphical cuts backs. Making the statement void.
I'm thinking that maybe Sony will convert the facility to make GDDR 5 if it doesn't already. I believe if they can produce most of their components in house it will save them money in the long run. Also I know this is premature but assuming there is a PS5 it will most likely use the same memory, future proofing Sony. They are going to trim the "Fat" in other devisions but Sony Entertainment isn't going any where.
This is awesome. It sounds like the PS4 will reinvigorate the Jap games industry. And that makes me very happy. There are some games a little to zany for my taste but for the most part my favorite genre is good ol JRPG's. Can't wait!

Its pretty bad X1 can barely run identical code from PS4. There is a huge power difference and its only going to grow.
Don't play fighting games, don't play racers, Ryse is crap, Dead Riseing 3 is shallow, Project Spark?, and burn anything to do with kinect. And Titanfall looks like crap. And people wonder why the PS4 is out selling 2:1.
