So, why not MAKE what we want?

"Your feedback from the alpha trial is clear: We are not making the game you want to play," reads a statement posted to the game's website. "That is why, after much difficult deliberation, we have decided to cease production of this version of the game.

So in summary, they refuse to make the game their fans want, typical EA.

@a08andan

Those are primarily laptop sales, not many PC gamers on laptops, and laptop sales are down due to tablets. It's best to look at GPU sales, which have been going up every year.

Tim Sweeney, founder of Epic Games, added that at present, there’s “a lot of fear from the major publishers and developers,” in regards to being tied down to platforms controlled by Microsoft and Sony, or others.

Interesting...

That's pretty pathetic, I guess they had to cut corners to hit the $400 price point. It's nice though that users can swap it out.

It's good on paper, but like Sweeney and Carmack said, no developer wants to work with a bunch of APIs for one game. If there is Mantle, there will be one from Nvidia. With as much raw power that a $300 GPU has over todays consoles, APIs like DX and OGL are likely more than good enough.

AMD has nowhere to go but up, NVIDIA may have some bumps ahead, should be interesting...

AMD has always been a better value, yet NVidia holds over 60% dGPU marketshare, people are willing to pay for superior drivers.

It's good that you ran out of bubbles because you have no clue what you're talking about.
