Yeah, the video store doesn't even show up on my US account (I'm from the UK) and I had a virtual Visa card as well which I use to purchase American PSN games!

I learned a harsh lesson yesterday:
If your a JRPG fan that loves playing JRPGS.........get a XBOX360.
I'm a HUGE JRPG fan and I never thought I'd say that. There's not one JRPG on the PS3 and I had so many on my PS2 :(
The ONLY thing stopping me from buying a 360 is the reliability issue, as soon as that gets fixed (If it does), I'll get one. I was pissed off when my brand new phone had to go to repairs because of a design fault, I'll be equally pissed ...
The problem I have with this whole FFXIII going multiplatform thing is that I'm a massive JRPG fan and I've been telling myself that even though I'm potentially missing out on all those JRPG's the 360 seem to have already out eg, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey, I've always thought that Final Fantasy will be worth it (I don't have the funds to be buying multiple consoles these days, have other purchases to make).
Now I've found out that I could've played those JRPG's I missed AND...
This will NOT go down well with Japanese gamers!
Sony can't brag that the console has superior graphics, not when FFXIII is coming out for the rivals. Of course we'll have to wait and see for the inevitable. stupid side-by-side comparison blow by blow by Gametrailers
Forget what everyone says, this IS a big blow to Sony. Watch the 360 sales in Japan skyrocket if it remains cheaper than the PS3.

I loved Red Faction 2. Bloody amazing game. Even the multi-player with bots and friends was brilliant (Rail guns ftw!)

I'm not going to get mad at Capcom for not releasing it on the Wii as that would be stupid. I just won't buy Monster Hunter as I don't have the system it's getting released on.
Seems Capcom has failed to realize that Wii is selling so well because it is a fantastic casual gaming machine, hence the new demographic of older people and females buying the machine.
Monster Hunter isn't exactly a casual game. No more heroes was a very good game, but it's sales aren't what you'd call 'astonishing'. I've got a funny feeling that's what's going to happen with the new game 'Mad World' which looks amazing but will be nowhere near the sales of Wii Fit.

Now people are just starting to buy HDTV's, yeah, this move could be considered "dumb" at the moment. There's no way in hell that I'm going to buy a new tv just to play some 3d games. Maybe I'll change my mind in 5 years :)

Cool for US citizens, I knew it would be only coming to the US (even though I was secretly hoping I could use my US account), but for a UK citizen.....why on earth do we have to wait for everything eg. PS 1 games, PSN games, video store (don't get me started on jrpgs) on the PS3 when we can get everything already on a cheaper rival?
