i don't know why... but randomly throughout my adulthood, i'd just start whistlin the sonic theme song... and i haven't played it since i god knows when... don't know where it came from, or what ignited the nostalgic tune, but out of nowhere, i'd start whistlin it... no joke...
and now after seeing this article, the song will stick with me till i'm withered...
in 2010... i remember them killing off the xbox within 5 years... and they already blew their wad this generation... if they were to cycle thru their exclusive (halo, GOW) again towards the latter end of the 360's life cycle, that goes to show you they don't have much to offer from their first party lineup...
i wonder if the ps2 will still be around when the 720 is launched....
i might have to give it another try... something about the first run with the demo just didn't do it for me tho....
after trying the demo, the characters felt really generic... was hoping they would be a little more animated...
instead of trying to make them realistic, sorta go a little more over the top and arcadey...
i really wanted to like this game too... i remember i played the sh1t out of Royal Rumble for the SNES... been awhile since i liked a wrestling game...

as i noticed people complain about the cursing and the dialog... i wonder if they've ever met actual jarheads... not stereotyping them by anymeans, just reporting from what i've gathered as a handful of my childhood buddies are marines now... they tell me stories... their lingo around the base... it was nothing out of the norm to hear the killzone characters speak like that...

and as for firstknight... yes red eyes are synonymous with evil... but taking what is known (redeyes = badguys) and characterizing it is what makes the helghast stand tall amongst other redeye'd evil do-doers...

but to answer your question... no one said it was "THE" greatest game of all time... its just a gripping, awesomely produced, fun ass game.... if anyone is a FPS fan... i can't see why they wouldn't pick this up... well unless someone doesn't have a ps3 of course... but that's another story...
that the ps3 section at the video game shop is actually a giant stack of whitecastle burgers...
i think people are arguing about Franchises... so there no need to list the titles and their respective sequels to pad your list... it that was the case... then sony and nintendos list would take up an entire page... jus sayin... there no need to list Gear of War 1, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 etc... we get it...
and btw... i think Rainbow six vegas was on the ps3... or can my ps3 be playing 360 games... im not sure...
