Loved the previous ones, cannot wait!
If you bring something to the market now a days you have to go all in and fast, you cannot do it a bit at a time to slowly build your user base because you will find a bigger company copying your design and ideas and releasing faster than you can.
Looks like a crazy good and above all really fun game, cannot wait.
You forget the big deciding factor, money. Microsoft has lots of it to throw around and sony are financially desperate.
Exclusives sell consoles, microsoft has more than enougth money to win that war if they really want to.
Which is why the wii u makes for a great second console, play these third party games on the x1 or ps4 then play some amazing exclusives on the relatively low cost wii u.

I wouldn't mind a similar design to the 3dsxl but with alot more power. I dont think they need to completely redesign, just make the whole thing better with new tech and keep the 3d screen.
This time next year will be a better indication of where nintendo is at this gen, they should sell good numbers of WiiUs this holiday season with the titles they are releasing.
It all comes down to money, if sony had given Activision enougth then it would have been exclusive but they obviously didnt. Microsoft gave EA a nice fat check and they gave them exclusives, EA just didnt wake up one day and decide to "play favorites" cause they felt like it.
Both consoles will have to make performance improvements to remain competative towards the mid and end of this 7-8 year cycle. Especially when/if steam, apple, samsung and co decide to enter the market with more agressive refresh cycles and the such.
If anything its good to know how microsoft intends to do that, now its over to sony to say how they will improve their system as it ages.
This is why developers continue to make crappy movie tie in games, people buy them regardless.
Wii u is getting a real nice amount of high quality exclusives, just hope we have some more great announcements at e3.
Definitely seems far too early to be teasing tlou2, I wouldnt expect it for at least 2-3 years from now so would be odd showing anything at this point.
This generation will be a lot more competative than the last especially towards the middle and end of this gen, I can see both the x1 and ps4 having a hard time remaining relevant if they keep to the 7-8 year lifecycle.
Would love for it to be announced at e3 this year, would definatly make this years e3 beyond epic with everything else happening.
Will be disappointed if we get a vr system and not an ar system on the x1.
Just makes me jealous knowing the devs are experiencing the game at its best before it gets pushed down onto our puny machines.
Seems like the extra money needed to develop it has taken it beyond what they are willing to give out to ps plus members. The offering now seems more like a very generously sized demo, which personally is all I would probably play as I dont like racers too much.
Nice
