At this level of computations it is starting to look interesting. Would work great on online only games like titanfall, ESO, EQN, etc to start with, then moving onto single player experiances as it becomes more accepted and the norm.
Nice to see cloud computing actually working and not just bs like on simcity where it didnt actually exist and was used to try and hide its drm.

If it plays well then it will sell well regardless of the resolution, if its junk then not even 4k res would save it. The game actually looks promising though so fingers crossed!
Is VR a living room tech, that is where i have my doubts. PC gaming seems like a natural fit but console gaming seems to be stretching it.
I actually think microsofts illumiroom style tech is a better fit for consoles. Disagrees incoming because i mentioned microsoft.
If you own a ps4 then you are also going to buy this game, so no wonder it is selling well. If it had been released at end of the year or next year i dont think it would have sold as well, so good on them for getting it out on time.

Hard to give a final verdict at the start of the new gen, i would reserve my final verdict until the end of this gen.
Radical changes of the UI is expected from microsoft after the 360, unlike sony microsoft kept trying new things in this regard. What the PS4 has now is what i expect it to have come the day its retired.
It made the most sense to his bank account. He can now buy that private island and spend rest of his life sipping on coconut juice while laughing at all those kickstarter people that made him rich.
Hopefully they get behind the oculus rift rather than go it solo, one headset then for both pc and xbox.
Graphically it is great but its substance is actually disappointing, it is a good game but not a great one. If you have something else to buy I personally would recommend waiting until the game comes down in price a bit before getting it.
TF2 is a long way off, the team is relativly small so dont expect anything for about 3 years, unless they are just going to do the typical ea milking process of yearly releases where nothing much changes.
At this price I expect this headset to be extremely cheap and tacky
