Yep 360 looked totally different by the end of its gen, great to see that trend continuing with the Xbox one.
@squid If you are expecting the Morpheus to be super low priced you are going to be greatly disappointed, chances are it will be more expensive than oculus as it needs extra hardware to make up for the low powered ps4 hardware.
Would prefer stable fps, it could happen towards end of gen as new techniques start being used just like last gen but I think they will use the extra power they free up on other stuff like effects.
This is why being able to use your oculus on Xbox would be so great,
Good game, hopefully it is a decent port. Hope someone makes a decent new theme park management type game soon, love this genre.
Xbox one getting a good balanced mix of indie and AAA games.
I prefer Microsofts solution, personally I just get two battery packs and when charge starts dropping off and they no longer hold as much i throw them away and get new ones. On my ps4 like my ps3 I have two controllers and rotate them, not a big hassle but when they start dropping in charge I will have to throw them away and buy completely new ones.
Only thing Microsoft should have done is bundle a charge kit with the controller, cause AA batteries should only be used if you ...
No, we have the internet now.
yeah requirements are so low, if you don't meet them you don't meet the requirements to effectively play any multiplayer game tbh. Non issue.
Yep a lot of people are trying to say this only works on physics processing but the reality is that wherever a calculation needs to be done it can be offloaded to the cloud. Everything a computer does is ultimately based on and the result of solving calculations, so you can easily see the potential implications.
i have faith in Phil, so far he has made all the right moves and seems like he has a plan that isn't about totally screwing us gamers over. Excited to see what they have cooking up.
There's also good benefits to playing these on Xbox one instead of 360 as you get to use the Xbox one controller, the system is almost completely silent unlike the 360 and you have acces to all the Xbox one interface features like video clips, screenshots, broadcasting etc.
If the BC in the Xbox one was not very good I would have said get a 360 but the BC is just so very good, even getting games to run better in some cases. You are crazy if you go out and buy a 360 now, ...
This needs no explanation.
Hopefully they are decent and interesting and not just generic Mario runner or Dr Mario candy crush clone type of games. Lots of potential.
Wherever a calculation is being done cloud computing can potentially be used to do it, I think that's the easiest way to understand it.
Good variety in landscapes and environments also helps.
Yeah think this is big point on subscription service, just like music, how the fee is shared between publishers isn't so clear cut. On BC that negotiation doesn't have to take place as they are selling games and DLC as normal and getting money more directly.
We have Xbox to PC now, I am loving it works great on my main computer and htpcs, just need Xbox one wireless controller adapters now which comes in November.
Ideally i want PC to Xbox streaming, more cross play and cross buy for multiplat games.
Really good deal, especially considering the amount of work that has gone into this remaster and with the other games being thrown in.
