Microsoft pointed out at June that the X360 had 41.7 million sold (official numbers).
If you take out Japanese sales ... 41.7 million - 1 million = 40.7
If you take American Sales 40.7 million - 21 million = 19.7
Microsoft sold 19.7 million X360 in Europe and rest of the world beside Japan and America.
Sony sold 16 million PS3 in Europ...

No wounder Sony does not release a firmware update to play PS2 games on the PS3. They make more money this way.
I've played Gears 1, Gears 2, Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2. They are all great games. I'm going to play Gears 3 and Uncharted 3. As for the best... i'll leave that to the fanboys.

Yep... it's one of the best games this generation.
Both will sell pretty well. Kinect is going to sell to the casuals and GT5 is going to sell to racing fans. No competition since they are aiming at two different type of gamers.
Personally i won't get any of them. Don't want Kinect nor am i a racing simulator fan. I prefer more arcade racing games like Motorstorm or Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (this one I will get in November).
Yep... week list. Microsoft need more first party studios and announce more exclusives. Let's wait and see.

Sony may sell more in hole Europe, but in the UK the Xbox 360 has been outselling the PS3 every year. Just take a look at the numbers from last year... the ps3 is going to have a though time catching up in the UK.

I have a PS3, Xbox 360 and a very decent PC. Please don't even compare me to you. I'm no blind, stupid fanboy of the PS3, Xbox 360 nor PC.
Honestly, no other console have more devoted fanboys then the PS3 (or Sony) fanboys. They will excuse Sony anything.
Sony could disable the Blu-ray player from the PS3 and PS3 fanboys would not mind. What a joke.
I honestly can't believe people are defending Sony for this. They removed a feature, that helped to promote the PS3, and people accept it like nothing is wrong. Unbelievable. I don't care if anyone used OtherOS, but it's wrong to remove the feature that comes with a console. I seriously hope Sony looses, and looses big time. This can influence other companies to do the same thing, remove features from their products, after they were sold.

Yep... good games on the list, but i suspect at least half of them will not be released in the next 12 months.
If they release the new xbox in 2012, I think it's perfectly acceptable if they discontinue the old xbox two years later, by 2014.
2005-2014... 9 years life cycle for a console is very good.
As for Kinect, they can continue using it with the future console.

Not finally... After the billion dollars RROD problem, the xbox devision has been turning a profit for a few years now.
Unfortunately, I'm not surprised... Sony are always f*cking up their firmwares releases. They always have to release firmware fixes for previous firmwares. There is always a problem with their big firmware release.
I predict... the next Xbox will be out in October 2012. It will be announced at E3 2012.
7 years after the release of the Xbox 360 (released in 2005), 2012 is a acceptable release date for the new Xbox. The Xbox 360 will be discontinued in 2013/14.
Yep it's a shame most games are 1200 points. They would probably sell 2 or 3 times more if they were 800 points.
Take Hydrophobia... if it was 800 points i would buy it on the spot, but at 1200 points... i'll have to think about it.
