You are wrong... the X360 has more sales in the UK (2nd biggest gaming market in the world) according to latests numbers i saw... and UK belongs to Europe.
Portugal (where i live) i know for sure PS3 sells more then the Wii and X360 combined. In relation to other European countries... i don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.

If Sony was smarter they would do the same thing and bring some of their applications (like Move) and games to the PC. They could keep it for some time exclusive for their consoles and after some time bring to the PC.

Sony have been loosing money with each PS3 since the beginning, and just this year the selling cost got even with the manufacturing cost. Sony is just starting to make money with each PS3 sale, so i don't think the price drop will happen any time soon. PS3 exclusives for 2011 (if they don't get delayed) will help the sales of the PS3 in 2011.
My guess... price drop in 2012.

It's the same game engine... so expect many similarity's with minor improvements. Who expected Naughty Dog to make a new game engine in such a short period of time... BTW, the graphics look great.
