"What has caused the March PS Plus Announcement to be delayed?"
My guess would be Microsoft's XBL Gold games for March.
"Is PlayStation Now Worth It?"
Does it still exist? I thought it was dead already...
Don't have a X1, but Quantum Break looks like one of the most interesting new IP's for 2015. It's from Remedy... enough said.
Like I said before, it doesn't matter if the game is good or bad, it will sell very well due to hype.
Sony spent quite a lot of €€€ on publicity for this game. Publicity on TV, magazines, web sites, articles, etc.
A game can be the best gamer ever, but you can always find flaws... so yes, NO GAME IS PERFECT.
What I find particularly funny are those reviews that give 10/10's (perfect scores) and at the end of their reviews they give 4-5 positive points and 4-5 negative points about the game.
LOL. How can a game have a perfect score and have negative points?
All 10/10 reviews are BS.
"Exclusive: Critics Admit to Lowering Scores for Attention"
... and what about the critics that give out 10's (perfect scores) simply for Attention?
No game deserves a perfect score.
So I guess from now on we should lynch every gaming journalist that don't praise exclusive games. Shoot them if they say a excluisve game is average. /s
If we do this, every exclusive in the future will be AAAA and have an average of 100% on metacritic. Yep, that's what we should do. /s
Now in all honesty... The biggest problem of the gaming world are not the gaming journalists, but the die hard, blind, stupid fanboys. Fanboys will always make a fuss if someth...
"Fans Flip Out Over EA / Xbox One Deal"
Fanboys are stupid. What else is new...
They should blame Sony. Sony refused the service.
@PONTIAC08G8GT
Don't care. A iTurd is much more valuable then a normal turd. /s
"Study uncovers Xbox owners' blind loyalty and brand delusion"
I think this applies to all fanboys (Sony, Nintendo, PC, even Apple fanboys), and not only Xbox fanboys.
The last I heard, Steam takes 30% of the games sales. Do you expect companies like EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Activision, Bethesda, Rockstar, etc, take that lying down. Of course that sooner or later they would (or will) release their own digital service. 30% is a huge chunk of money...
Why shouldn't Bethesda make their own digital service? From a business stand point it makes perfect sense. That way they don't have to pay Steam 30% of the games sales.
EA, Ubisoft and Blizzard already have their digital service. It's a question of time that companies like Activision, Bethesda, Rockstar, etc, have theirs. 30% taken by Steam is just too much to simply ignore.
@moldybread
Since I don't have XBL Gold, I wouldn't mind one bit if Sony "offered" the PS4 version of Rayman Legends with PS+. It would be the best PS4 game "offered" with PS+ until now.
If these rumours are true, then it's a very good month for XBL Gold owners.
"The Order 1886: And The Mysterious Case of it’s Damning Reviews"
Same can be said about Ryse: Son of Rome... or not?
Like every other game out there, some people will like it, others will not. That's life.
Games are like movies. As long they have a big budget for promotion and hype, they will sell (most of the times). Doesn't matter much if they are good or not. The Order: 1886 proved that.
People are like sheep, they will follow the hype.
Valve doesn't need exclusives nor a console. They already control most of the PC gaming market with Steam.
The games, they occasionally make, like Half-Life or Portal sell a crap load of copies in every platform they release it.
So why make a console with exclusives ?
Sony lied... and fanboys don't care.
At this moment the only Sony first party studio that pulls out AAA exclusives is Naughty Dog... and sometimes SCE Santa Monica with their God of War series.
Yep, great game. For me Wasteland 2 was one of the best games of 2014.
Divinity Original Sin was also great.
