There was lots of good content in the show, but I think the glaring omission and the thing that people really tuned in to this "Showcase" for was the first party games. Without these, even the good parts of the show start to feel underwhelming.

While the game is already a huge success, I do feel that the creation element with friends could truly elevate it even higher.
I'm a singleplayer guy, but this is one of the few occasions where I agree that a multiplayer element would be a huge benefit.
Sonic Frontiers is absolute garbage though haha, it barely feels like a AA project... and are you really going to say Zelda looks and runs like crap when Frontiers looks like unity asset flip while objects constantly pop in under your nose... yikes.
Overwatch is garbage and this has just made it even more garbage (as if that was even possible)
The difference is give it 12-18 months and alot of Playstation/Xbox and PC games are reduced to affordable prices. wait a bit longer and they go down even further. Nintendo games stay extremely pricey forever.

I don't really miss many of these personally. I played Tearaway and thought Concrete Genie was ok, but ultimately they were kind of luke warm. Same goes for the last few Japan Studios games.
I'm more than fine with the current landscape of Sony's first party, for the most part the games are very well made and offer me experiances that routinely rate among some of the best i have had each year.

Xbox is really only building an identity of failiure. They really need to deliver on games games and games.
I hope Hellblade 2 is a hit. I loved the first one.
