Good luck if its going to take that long. Majority of people buy a console due to the exclusives that come with it. If MS is going to make sure there's equal parity between XSX and XBO in exclusives games, than why bother with a XSX. You pretty much holding back your new console hardware in favor of old hardware. I'm fine with keeping XBO around fazing it out overtime, but do that with multi-platform games not exclusives.
$399 would be sweet spot, less chance of that this time around, due to the hardware in it. Probably looking at $500 which for what your getting is reasonable. Anything higher things could end up like PS3 launch, don't think Sony going that route again. Will all see mostly likely doing e3 the price like usual.
The numbers they showed for how much things have sold this gen is good. PSVR 5mil isn't that bad really. Though only 38.8 Plus members to the 103M active members seems kinda low.

Alienware is always overprice, it can have all the hardware it wants. When it comes to handhelds for gaming, people will always pick Nintendo. Switch is affordable and exclusives that people are going to want to play.

Why would you think that would happen. Exclusive is what sells the console, its one of the major factors why someone picks one console over the other. Its pretty much how competition works in business. People pick products from certain companies cause the other company may not have something they're looking for.
Pretty much, big map size is great and all but if your traveling with nothing in between keeping you busy, makes you want to fast travel to the actual spot than travel regularly on foot or vehicle. Its one of the main reason I stop playing AC: Odyssey and couldn't finish it, the map was to dang big and felt empty.
Sorry, one game isn't convincing me, you need multiple of AAA exclusive games to do that. Its what makes people pick Sony over MS a lot the variety of AAA exclusive they put out.
It was a big surprise, especially since Sony is planning to announce PS5 officially in Feb, figure MS would wait till afterwards to announce this. Guess I'll be getting it for console for sure than. Always online was one of the top reasons ppl didn't like D3 for PC. Though doubtful I hope they listen to the community and realize always online isn't they way to go.

Telling me its more borderlands, that's a shame, thought gb would get rid of all that hateful and unfunny stuff in it and make it a walking simulator, cause those are fun and it respects ppls safe spaces.
Its not super bad, but you'll notice it. Performance mode is much better, this game isn't exactly the visual presentation like HZD or GOW so playing it at 4k seems kinda pointless.

The point of a upgrade either be a console, hardware, car, etc is to show off why the new version/model of that product can do and what the older one can't, its literally the point of a upgrade.
