MS wonders why their not doing good this console gen. Relying on multi-platform isn't going to help that much to push units, exclusives are. Exclusives are what says you need to get this console, its what shows what your console is really capable of, multi-platform don't. Its A bold strategy Cotton, lets see if it pays off for them.
The bar was pretty low to begin with, but the best conference jumping the gun on that. Until all the conference are done can't really say who has the best. MS had a solid conference probably put it ahead of Bethesda, the thing still lacking is wheres the epic exclusives. Most of the games were multi-plateform, you can't say Xbox is the best place to play games, when good portion of the games can be played on other platforms. The only big announcement was acquiring NT, other than that ...

It was a solid conference, much better than EA of course. The only big announcement really came from buying NT which is good and bad. The games they showed tons of them though were still 3rd party multi-plateform, I didn't see that exclusive that makes me want to get Xbone.
Did I mention kinect no and 2nd SoT a game that didn't live up to expectation and only delivered on half its promises. RARE now isn't even close to what they used to be doing their peak which was in the 90's/early 2000's.

Haven't cared for their games since Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, but its good that MS acquired them, hope it pans out for them. We all know how RARE turned out when MS acquired them...

Its cause they've built great relationships over the years with devs and giving them lots of freedom to make what they want, instead of tying them up and only allowing them to make the same game.
Translation, only 2 or 3 are actual exclusives. Ms needs to bring the big guns, not the water guns if they want to compete with Sony. They got to get ppl hype for a change, meaning put away the forza, gears, and halos and show something new and fresh that makes me open my wallet.
I get the Destiny vibe, its why I was interested in it. That gp was let down to me and wasn't hype for it. I will agree it does look good visual wise.
The gp felt meh, I want the game to improve were destiny has done bad in certain areas, but after watching this, It seems like its going to be average. My hype for it has gone down after this, I hope people who play at e3 hype it again, so far not impressed.
So much better details to things and combat feels more fulfilling and epic compared to SoT
