What, no mention of Lara Croft/Tomb Raider?
I remember a time when she was practically considered the face of the industry. Didn't she moonlight at U2 concerts, too?
Oooh, I have one of those puzzles. A friend got it for me as a gift, but mine is for Super Princess Peach, so it has some of that new oldschool-style Mario art, instead of the computer renders.
The cover is neat, it has a cool, sort of 3D lenticular effect going on.
In fairness, the guy had the title since March... that's got to count for at least a minute, so to speak.
More power to them. I think if a publisher isn't interested in releasing a game here, they should at least allow another company to take the chance themselves.
I'm interested in playing this, but the lack of any meaningful single-player really kind of kills the "must have" part for me.
It's a good game, I had a lot of fun with it. And $20 is tough to beat, definitely worth that much.
Incidentally, the DS game reminded me more of the old N64 games, but with a career mode attached.
I wound up receiving two copies of the magazine in the mail. But I really want that shirt. Curse you, lack of Targets in my area!
All that's needed is for it to electrocute you whenever you die. Hardcore! ;P
Hooray for co-op
Guess we'll see where things go. There's no way they'll outsell Nintendo with these things, of that I'm sure, and I'm sure they're aware of it. That said, how many will it take for them to be "successful?"
I wish the Wii Games were coming to my neck of the woods so I could get that stuff.
Screens look good... too good to be a rumor?
Wouldn't 3D for two people require even more images, if they aren't doing a split-screen thing?
I wish I could attend one of these. I'd love to get my hands on some of that swag!
Well, the $30 gift card isn't bad, I guess... if you're out to get one, anyway.
Not really sure about these. The controllers look neat, but the buttons... that part, I'm unsure of. The 360 face buttons look a bit small; I wonder how well they work in practice.
And on the Wii version, what's with the 1 and 2 buttons? Does placing them like that help anyone do anything?
Got my copy of Dragon Quest IX! Or at least my wife does...
I think the "degree" of the remake is also important.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix? Cool as it is, it doesn't really deliver anything new beyond shinier graphics and remixed sounds.
In the case of A Boy and His Blob, cited in the article as well, it's an entirely different game based on the same premise. And those are cool by me.
Bionic Commando Rearmed is another great one, improving a number of aspects of the...
Eh, not a big fan of shaky cameras... might take a look, anyway.
I kind of liked it... until it seemed to be an "either/or" scenario between the two, rather than an "and."
