Actually, Rage has some of the finest visuals in any game this year. Its the best looking console game (I know this review is for the PC), and looks much better than BF3 on the Xbox. People dont seem to understand something though. While I completely agree with you, the human eye is only capable of seeing ~25 'Frames' per second. So 30 FPS is still more than the human eye is capable of in real life.
I think a 720 isnt needed cause its a terrible name that no intelligent company would even consider.

Seem's they are too focused on publishing now, and split up thier developers with too many games at once. Put all thier eggs in one basket and they would make another classic title, which im pretty sure they havent done in a while.

A first-party developer is defined as any owned by the parent console producer, though, so thats a First Party.
I googled that shit though, and it appears that 'second-party' means nothing, and is just a missused term, as developers are either First or Third party, there is no inbetween. Understandable mistake.

They're talking about the critic scores, not user scores. User scores on Metacritic are the biggest pile of crap on the net.
