If you dont like to believe the hype "these days", you most certainly shouldnt base your decision to buy a game or not based on what other people think.
He's refering to the format of the article, not its quality.
The fact that this article is spread over 8 different pages is somewhat ridiculous, seeing as each page was one single paragraph, most of which are very small.
This format comes across as very little more than what Xof accurately called it, "hitbaiting". Its sole purpose is so gather more page views from its readers, to appear that the site as a whole is more popular than it is.
Thats a disgusting comment.
He wasnt defending the game, but rather pointing out the ignorance and stupidity of the poor review Najberg wrote.
Enslaved is one of the very best on the list.
Id say yes for Dante's Inferno.
It has a pretty great storyline if you're interested in the whole heaven/hell thing, and the enemey and Hell desings are awesome! Some of the demons are wonderfully realised.
Good combat if you dont mind button mashing (similar to God of War, DMC etc.).
Very mature game, in essentially every sense.
Its not game changing for the genre, but its definitely entertaining and memorable.
Your comment would have been fine, and highly agreeable, if you didnt revert to insinuating that all those who prefer the cellshaded sytle are fanboys. Poor form.
Yeah I think it could be a good additive. Map/Inventory/Mission tracking, would all work well on the gamepad.
Never played this on PS2, and neglected to buy 2 & 3 on PS3 becuase of it. Always thought they looked awesome, will get to experince them all now. Very pleased.
Your loss.
If PC is so good, why dont they release a PC2?
Wow, such great prices on all the best quality items!
@decrypt
You say that like its a bad thing.
We care about enjoying ourselves. Lesser graphics or not, thats exactly what we get, and we love it.
I dont really think holding hands in ice-cold water should be an appropriate measure of pain.
Perfectly stated!
I miss the times when everyone didnt just judge games visuals on the Graphics, but atmosphere, art, style, individuality and design all played factors.
Halo is one game that has always had those in spades, more than most other games (especially shooters).
Jeez man, this is a family site - Cover Up! Your fanboy is showing!
Jacket has too many pockets.
I agree!
I think the next step is to leave it how it is, with gamers either relaxing on thier couch with a controller and a TV, or sitting at thier computer with a mouse & keyboard (whichever they prefer), and just making the content that we're playing bigger and better.
Thats exactly what I think every time I see the MGS Ground Zeroes image that used on this article. The resemblance is uncanny!
