Microsoft run their gaming business just as it is. a business(as oppose to a Creative arts business). i do not approve of the way microsoft runs their gaming department. And i agree that some games are being manufactured to fill holes(which is as noble as a hollywood movie these days).
However having said that, from what ive heard and read, Lost oddessy is a good game and its selling decently.
so i wouldnt call it a flop.
buying 3rd party controllers is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea. haha. Just dont do it.

I just bought ico from england(im aussie) for $100 because its so rare here now.
I rung up all kinds of shops and EVERY1 knew what the game was i was like Wtf? Oh..and then ofcourse there's eb games.
I rung up places like cash converters(like a glorified pawn shop) and the guy knew exactly what ico was. Same as other Retail stores.
Thennnnnnn i ring EB games.. hah ofcourse.

Blu ray is very surely rising to the top. Its all over the shops and every day i hear average joe asking about it.
I wouldnt say its in its infancy. 10mil plus people own a blu ray player. And its only going to grow.

The ps3 doesnt have the AMAZING software out just yet bar a few.
but.. I was at the video store yesterday and had a look at the much touted 360 line up.. and what i saw, was..
- the AAA usuals.
- The sport games
- Games no one would play/ps2 ports
In my opinion, Ps3 isnt far behind xbox in terms of decent software.
I didnt disagree, but sometimes i hit the disagree or agree button and it flashes up to some1 elses name...

Hmm still i was much more impressed when i first saw COD4.
I have been playing Rainbow 6 since it first came out all those years ago, and i have to say i enjoyed the single player alot more back then compared to R6Vegas's.
