you are probably 1 in a billion. back in the good old days i never heard of a ps1/2 failing on anybody.
I have my originals still working as good as new.....except my ps1 is a wreck coz i was so excited when i got my ps2 that i jumped on my ps1 hahaha. and it still works;) god knows how.
