retards coding this,theres many other games with 1080p and more demanding in every-way possible with higher steady framerate,yet these monkeys couldnt figure it out? apparently the xone is also suffering framerate dips with the more reviews I read and lower res... these guys just suck the big one... xbots cut it out,,theres many multiplat games(like all of em,literally) that look better,runs better,feels better in everyway.....from multi plat to exclusives that couldn't be done on the on...

There will not be a large gap and what there is now is shrinking. 1080p is the top end buddy. Once the Xbox gets there and it will, it has already started moving that way with the first SDK improvement then they will both be at 1080p and they will go no further as they don't have the power to render 4K. So selling twice as fast as the 360 is selling poorly? Come on, fanboys just stop...stop...it's old and pathetic...stop being so negative. I know not all areas are the same, but in my area it's the exact opposite, it's hard to find XB1s and easy to find ps4s...in fact the costcos next to my house have NO XB1's yet pallets of PS4s...and all the gamestores next to me have few Xb1s at a time and 10-15 PS4s...this is clearly an opinion piece ...

looks insanely good(fuking ridiculous really) graphics wise already,,,just focus now on a SOLID 30fps.

geekman,the majority of console games aren't 60fps,and never will be the majority.... 30fps is fine and still a smooth experience,its about getting the game to a constant 30fps..... noway this specific game is getting to 60 with this fidelity. play a indie game,plenty of them are 60fps,doesnt mean the game is actually good... and say hello to your mother for me

optimizing doesn't always means decreasing assets,watering down fidelity ect... it means better coding to help keep what you got while doing it with less resources than before,then using those extra cycles you got back towards the framerate(or whatever the dev chooses)

devs are already able to take full advantages of the PS4 is because they are already familiar with the architecture

coding always gets better,game engines always get better, o.s shrinkage also brings more power,sdk/tools always advance and get better. the gpgpu/8 ACE'S 64 queues is not fully tapped by any stretch.. long long way to go

ryse was 900p 30fps and those frames per second actually dropped to the teens. A game running at 900p and dropping to 18-20fps is NOT next gen. I don't give a RAT'S A$$ how great the graphics look.

also linear as F,and I once said Stephen hawkings legs have more interaction than ryse..the physics suck....

if it was more open,and things to actually interact with and actually gave it a REAL 30fps lock,and maybe a real next gen resolution,the xone would implo...

By definition, running at 800x1920 isn't running at 1080p

by definition its not because of the black bars,we know that,we get that,but thats not important,whats important is that the image inbetween the black bars has the same pixel density as a traditional full screen 1080p.. it will have the same type of clearity and sharpness as the traditional 1080p... the traditional way doesn't make it sharper/clearer without the black bars(it just means more screen is being see...
