People see the Nintendo option as a less serious gaming console, aimed more at children. I love Nintendo , they bring innovation and quality with their in house franchises but without the Cod's, the Gta's and the like there are just not enoughquality games for the system. I wish them all the best.
I really like Fifa 15, it does replicate the Sky Sports Super Sunday experience very well. The gameplay is decent as long as you play against a similar level, like minded human player who wants to play a real game of football. Unfortunately, that never happens. You always end up playing some t**t who has some unnatural way of scoring, a flaw to the game rather than skill. And I am sick to death of playing against Real Madrid !! It is also true that games are scripted, this needs to end. Match...

Gran Turismo lost my attention long ago, I like a sense of speed and adrenaline from a racer, not a 6 month slog to open up the decent cars. GT needs to take what it does best and streamline the whole experience. It's not perfect by any stretch ! I loved GT in the early days but things have changed, GT could learn a thing or two from DC. Shoot me down if you like but secretly you know I'm right.
I paid 34.99 with ps+ discount ... and what a game !! Long term appeal, great graphics, sound and gameplay. Those who are slating this game ... crack on, it's you who's missing out. Ask anyone who plays it. Of course, you could complain and bitch instead ... have fun with that !
Its unfortunate that Driveclub has suffered technical issues and received bad press because it is a fantastic game. Hopefully it will soon be seamless with weather patch implemented. For me, it is a good enough game now to warrant the £34.99 I paid. Other people may feel differently and that's fine. I think it's harsh to say Evolution should close ... for me they have produced the best modern racer available. I absolutely love it.
The basic AC gameplay and story are great, I love it. The stupid future bits break the illusion , they kill it for me. Ubi should have cut the modern bulls**t and just concentrated on standalone stories. Who gives a shit about historical accuracy or continuity of story and plot. Hope they sort it in the future as I genuinely like AC
Been playing Driveclub since launch and loving it. It is everything I want from a racer... graphically beautiful with awesome environments, great audio, great car handling and intense gameplay.
I don't really care about live mp racing and never will until a system is created where people race fairly without resorting to ramming. It ruins what could be a brilliant experience. I prefer to race ghost cars or beat my own lap times. Until people grow up, I'll stick to sp. Shame ...
I am very optimistic about DC. Graphics look amazing, it's more to do with the actual environments, weather and realistic lighting that set this apart from other racers. The handling looks better than it did at E3. If it plays well and there's a good variety of roads (certainly looks to be) then I'll be a happy bunny. DC and Alien: Isolation are top of my list at the mo
Driveclub was my most anticipated game prior to PS4 launch .. mostly because of how it looked, the environments etc... Now it looks better than I ever dreamt it could be. I'm bored of track racers. Driveclub looks fresh and different. Im a little worried about the handling .. somewhere between sim and NFS rivals would be ok. Prefer more realism but I know they're not aiming for that ! It's their game .. my choice if I buy. Cannot wait though !!
The game looks good visually .. I just got bored of first two games really quickly.
I'm guessing it'll be the same just better looking. I'll give it a blast on rent or demo 1st I think.

Nostalgia does play a big part. Consoles are defined by the games released on them. I've owned most consoles since I played scramble on my commodore vic 20 ! It's too hard for me to have a top console of all time. Dreamcast , Snes , Master System , Megadrive , N64 ... all had great games a lot of which I still play today. If I was pushed, I would have to say .... Snes. That console kept me entertained longer than any other. It was just such a good time to be a gamer. Like I said...

Well I earned my money .. bought Thief and am really enjoying it.
So for me, it is value for money. I rate the game considerably higher than a 6 .. that is my opinion. Thats the great thing about games .. there's something for everyone.
Love Trials HD .... I really hope it's the same formula and they haven't messed too much with the core gameplay. Addictive !!

I understand the principle very clearly. What I don't accept is that a company with the $ power of MS wouldn't want to offer a 'gesture' to people who paid full price very recently. I bought both PS4 and XB1 and don't care for brands .. I couldn't care less who 'wins' the console war. I buy them for me.
I couldn't wait for this game ... then, I must admit I felt a bit deflated when all the negative press started. I was gutted, I really hoped it would blow everything away.
I read the reviews which confirmed the negativity and I decided after much thought that I would leave it and buy something else.
