MSFT claimed selling 2 times more 360's after price drop in EU and since has taken back the lead in UK (according to charttrack or GFK , cant remeber who exactly)
The boring console and laughing stock of 2007 avoided the gamecube syndrom and became cool thanx to price drop (PS3).

FF13 isnt the only JRPG in the universe.
I perssonally wouldnt trade Star Ocean 4 , Tales of Ves , Inf Undiscovery , Eternal Sonata , Blue Dragon and Lost Oddyssey for ONE game : FF13
You might say they are timed exclusive bla bla bla but that means you'll probably play Star Ocean 4 in mid 2010 for instance.

West = 18.5 million 360's
West = 10 million PS3's
Almost twice the install base and 360 has high attach rate.
Moreover JRPGS doing quite good on 360.Nothing groundbreaking but decent sales.
They cant just ignore 18.5 million customers.

LO is an unproven franchise AND SOLD 700 000 in USA and EU alone in 3 months.
Star Ocean 4 is a proven franchise and is more popular in Japn than LO will ever be.
I really dont understand people who think Japan is EVERYTHING.
Final fantasy sells more in USA and EU combined than in Japan.
USA + EU = more important and bigger market for big JRPGS than Japan will ever be.
I dont see why are people so worriend for JRPGS on...
