Sony fanboys are actually considering Eternal Sonata now that its coming to PS3.I remember when FF13 was PS3 exclu every tme I mentioned Eterna Sonata I got the "shut up XBOT , ES is CRAP , FF13 pawns every crappy 360 jrpg, who cares about ES , FF13 is enough for us"
I advice you guys to get that game.Its a very good game , not GREAT its true but good quality material.
Well , 2 differant strategies:
Sony = heavy reliance on 1st party.
MSFT = heavy relaince on 3rd party.

- 3rd party devs dont mind at all : just read the article , it even seemed a good idea to the devs that MSFT azpproched them.
- 360 fans and 360 owners dont care at all : we get the games before everyone , we get PS3 exclusives like FF 13 (being a FF fan that owns all FF games since FF7, Square just saved me 400 euros).

1 : FF9 , best FF and my favorite videogame, simply the best game ever made in my opinion.Felt so close to Bibi and Djidane (french version names) , that game was just beautiful.Its a pity it didnt sell as well as the other FF games.
2 : FF7 and FF8 , equally execelant but FF8 was a tiny bit too "teenage love story" to me.
3 : FF10 and FF12...

realize that LO has been out for only 5 months.It will pass 1 million EASILY.
If LO new and unproven franchize can hit a 1 million then how much will FF13 , the biggest RPG in the history of video gaming will sell in one year on the 360 , moreover it will have a even bogger install base than LO.
2 miilion MINIMUM for Final Fantsy 13 on 360.
Thats pretty good already consdering FF12 sold 5 million on the PS2 with a 100 million install base.

MSFT would have easily one the award for the boringest conferance BUT FF13 just killed E3.
If it werent for probably the biggest announce in the history of E3 (FF13 on 360)this E3 would have been incredibly dissapointing.

Im a 360 owner and since they announced FF13 for 360 I cant care less for Versus :
-first of all we werent even supposed to be seeing a FF game on 360.
-now that the Versus team has moved on to the FF13 project when on planet earth will Versus come out ?They still have to start the 360 version of FF13.
-The main FF agem is FF13 and not FF versus.

I was drooling over final fantasy 13 since they came out with the first trailer back in 2006.
I was telling myself I would get a PS3 in 2009 probably to play MGS4 and FF13 (and maybe GOW3 but alot less than MGS4 and FF13)
You might think Im lying but those 2 games were the only 2 games that would "FORCE" me to buy a PS3.The PS3 has other good games ...

was a good game BUT after being blon away with MGS1 I was expecting the same for MGS2.
It was an excellent game but nowhere as mind bloing as MGS1 was thus I felt dissapointed with MGS2.
Anyway when you compare it to the other MGS games MGS 2 was clearly the "worse" though still being excellent.
