And 360 still has the huge Mass Effect 2, Fable 3, Alan Wake etc, it is still in its infancy in sales
Project Natal and Live will also become more and more important too
Of course i will buy both versions, PS3 will have better videos, 360 better in game visuals
If i had to choose, i would go for the better in game visuals, since they make for 90% of my play time
You really can't compare doom to Baldur Gate, can you ?
As for graphics, Mass Effect 2 is leaps and bounds better, especially the level sizes, lighting and character models

Let's get real, 360 is selling like hot cakes, and the best exlusives and deals are yet to come
It is really the ultimate gaming deal of all time and then some
Also you get to play all multipltforms at their best (as always with the best console hardware and GPU around), like FF13 for example
And then, there are the unique XBLA titles to look forward too
See, i like deeper games and RPG's more, and only 360 has that
Now for the action/shooter only lovers maybe PS3 is better, even though 360 has some gems there too (and far more interesting as well, like Gears 2 comparing to the dull Killzone 2)
One thing remains though, you can play games like Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Fable 3, Kingdom Under Fire 2 etc and the best version of most multiplatforms for just 199$ an Arcade costs.
Not that PS3 has anything like those exclusives anyway, Mass Effect 1-2 alone are reasons enough to pick a 360 over PS3 anyday for me
Who cares what bitter fanboys think really ? I may like 360 best, because has all the RPG's for me, but i have a PS3 and a Wii for their exclusives too
BTW this is the first holiday PS3 is cheap, it is supposed to sell
Also if Vgchartz is to be believed, 360 sold double the previous Nov numbers, that is 400.000 x 2 = 800.000 !!!
I plan to buy it, but seems more like another failed attempt to make some extra cash from milking FF main games (FF13 that is, the real FF title)
So, this thread is rather pointless imo
So, there will ALWAYS be reasons to get a 99$ 360, price is definatly another one, Live and Natal too
They are by miles the best RPG's coming, so missing on any one would be a disaster
Well, 360 has Fable 3 too, so is my definite RPG machine
The new XBLA 2D RPG coming should be exiting too
So, PS3 will always be behind, plus Natal seems 10x more exiting than the more of the same motion controls of Wii and PS3
It has some titles i would kill for, so saying it is dead is rather silly
So, the best option is either a 360 for those short on cash or a PS3/360 combo, but not a PS3
Xbox 360 is in the position PS2 was back then (cheap, huge game library, FF13 etc) and better, since it outperforms PS3 in 99% of multipltform titles
Now it is officially the only games i want from Bioware (or a PROPER and REAL NEXT GEN Baldur gate 3)
So, how are people supposed to go wild over an enchanced Indigo game, as it was something totally new and unique ???
Right now, seems more of a rent than a buy to me, like KZ2, MGS4 and LBP, Uncharted 1-2 where good rents, short linear games usually deserve that much imo
For all we know, the gameplay could be extremely boring, so how is anyone going to buy a PS3 just for Heavy Rain, before any reviews are out ?
Based on the wishfull thinking of developers ? Does not work that way, right now i am interested in HR, but would not even remotly consider buying a PS3 for that game, especially after developers say that it will be like a movie, with almost zero gameplay
Then there is Last Guardian, which seems like a game that i would bu...
Maybe though, they want to have as many 360 sold, since people buy games for ythem like crazy, unlike PS3
