weve seen other forms of entertainment drop significantly this year....
music industry: sales and concert sales down a lot
movie industry: sales and theater numbers down a lot
the gaming industry only fell 1%..... yes thats probably like 500 million lost but compared to the other forms of entertainment, were doing exceptionally well, in this economical climate

only a small percentage of people know how to hack systems, they'll convince someone to pay them 100 bucks to hack their ps3.... more for pirated games, a person enjoys it for a month or two, and then sony bricks the system, forcing them to go out and buy a new or used system again, and pay the hacker another hundred bucks every few months..... eventually costing the foolish consumer way more time, money, and trouble then its really worth... sony sees system sales increase, but the hacker...
Mario is the king of platforming and I cant argue that. But I think the article was referring to how much improved the sly collection was to the original games..... and how the mario collection was untouched compared to the snes game. Essentially all the reviews for it complained about no sound or visual updates, lack of content (no super mario world), and like you said the separate games are cheaper in the wii store
but Jacob looks like Kayne west.
all i take from this is that Bioware is super talented and have updated their engines tremendously in 1 year.

a sales increase is still a sales increase. it sold 4000 more units than normal so thats higher numbers, it was however overshadowed by the arrival of GT5
it was also only 3 days in japan
and im still waiting on a ps3/360 stand alone strider title
and quite honestly its starting to feel like buying Madden every year..... your hoping things have improved but they hardly do. the 360 version is probably the most stable but even it has some issues, but i guess thats enough of a victory for some people,
That being said i really suggest people just stop buying the games, call of duty isnt the end all to be all for gaming,
