I shouldn't have to tuck anything away. I can't even think of another electronic device I have that has a brick.
"While Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sales pale in comparison to Nintendo's Wii U..."
What?
Interesting how the total for the top three consoles in Europe beat out the total for the top three in the US. I guess the US market size is not all it's sometimes made out to be.
No, it's not too early. It's DOA.
Then you don't need it. But I'm sure there are many people out there who have not tried it and who will get the iOS version.
Can someone explain the zip line physics to me? It just looks too...instantaneous.
I'm referring to when the Owl fires the zip line over to wherever it is you're going to.
Supply and demand don't work like that.
But, will it blend?
Aaaaaand.....he's done.
@Darrius - and they're all rotten to the core. Well, many of them.
Fastest selling *Xbox 360* game. Hard to believe that's the best selling game on a console.
I guess the people in this thread don't have much interest in the 3DS' sales. Deal with it?
So, if they put Twitch on the Wii U and Vita would those consoles suddenly be more appealing as gaming consoles? No, didn't think so. It takes more than that to be a "game changer".
@Fattyuk
And that attitude is exactly why the XBOX One will still sell - people just don't have a clue.
Interesting. I'm not sure they even *know* what the XBOX One is at this stage.
I hope they can shuffle things around for it all to now magically work without the whole DRM / check-in integration part. If not, XBOX owners might be in for a rough ride in the early stages as MS try to figure things out.
"There is no reason that you are going to need a dedicated gaming machine in the next year or two — you probably don’t even need one now."
What, exactly, is this assumption based on? I can promise you I need and *want* a dedicated gaming machine.
Sorry - that's just beyond stupid.
I think the XBOX One will be a WIP even after launch.
If MS and Sony continue to support the 360 and PS3 for some time (and all indications are that this will be the case), Nintendo might be in trouble if they don't rethink the Wii U price.
Most consumers will continue to look at the Nintendo console as being "inferior" due to the relative lack of fidelity when comparing the Wii to the 360 and PS3. I think it might seem to people as if Nintendo is a generation behind from now on, so the Wii U will be compared to t...
kneon, implemenation like sharing assets is easy to accomplish as it's asynchronous (happens at different times, for those who might not know). This could just as easily be accomplished by allowing someone to remotely access my console - no need for a cloud system to do that. Synchronous sharing is going to be a challenge, though, I believe. When calculations / other processes have to done on distributed servers and then relayed to all consoles impacted by the change in the "worl...
