Deus Ex was the first game that had me sitting back and uncertain of who was playing what game, who my character could trust and who needed to be dead. And it was the first time I recall seeing rag-doll physics in play with sniping a bad guy. Great game.
I thought the premise of the first game was really good, it was dangerous. Sure, it's evolved, but I agree, not sold on being a Big Daddy.
Every year is a tough choice for these games, but someone has to do it. Thought this was a good list.
Morrigan flat out scares me. The other two are just some of my neighbors ... ok, that should probably really scare me.
Ya, got a dragon sculpture on my desk. not sure they've been really well done in games, but if graphically compelling, they can be pretty cool.
solid title and likely the best MGS title
hehe, somewhat entertaining. wonder what their criteria was?
Gotta love that publishers are rolling out top titles early in the year.
premise sounds pretty good, and it looks good, but not sure how it plays out after more than an hour - that will be the telling mark of the game.
Got an HP that was supposed to be set up to game. it wasn't. didn't discover that until a couple of months down the road. nice to see someone benchmarking systems by playing games on them.
Yep, i remember first time I saw it, it was amazing.
the graphics for this game are very impressive. and it's a good story, very dark. be interesting to see if EA can pull it off
Not sure who I would like to see as War. Don't think Bruce could handle it very well, though. Guy needs to have some bulk, a little on the beefy side; after all, he is supposed to be the epitome of war.
Seems it was about the celebrities and not the games. An awards show should be about the games, presented by people who know about the games, and for people (like the audience) who play games. Not a flash bit of televised fluff where it is about stars' names and not the games.
Well, I was interested in this game before; now starting to get a bit excited to see what they have done.
Looking forward to this game.
The game is the peripheral, that's about it. It's a family game. Since skateboarding games were never realistic to begin with - I mean, come on, who skateboards with their thumbs - this is just a different way to play it. And it's not meant for the hardcore TH fans. Robomodo better hope others use the board, or it was an expensive experiment that didn't work.
some creepiness, breathtaking moments. Yep, this was a good one.
Blah, Splinter Cell did some great things but seems to be overlooked ... well, so far. Stealth and shooting, with good plots - IMO - drives a good FPS
So many games bear striking similarities to others - nice to see some of the titles that may have influenced Darksiders named. Brings back some fond gaming memories.
