Think I'm going to have to play this game. Loved Dragon Age and this sounds like it could be better.
game released in 1999, and that does look like the box I once had. I remember great storm effects. Was playing it sitting in a gamer's chair and when thunder cracked through the speakers in the headrest, I just about set a record for height in the sitting jump.
James Clemens' novels might make for a good game as well.
hmm, toss out the scoring thing, and look at what actually happened (so far) in the game. Game had the Jets leading at the end of the first half, and that happened. If the Colts dominate the second half and pull out the win, that's a bit eerie.
Great list, reintype. Wheel of Time was a video game, though, by GT Intertactive. I had it and it was not bad for the time frame, like 10 years ago.
It does have some very attractive gaming elements that if done right will make for a great adventure.
Solid answers about a game that seems like it could be pretty good. Been following this one for a couple of months now and it might be worth a look.
Sony consoles are stable and i would rather game on my PS3 than take a RRoD risk on another platform.
remember the first time i played a serious sam game and the sheer amount of bullets fired in a five-minute span - it was insane. like FPS titles with humor, though.
saw a bit of it and the combat looks pretty good. the story elements are a bit lacking, though.
if they do, hopefully the next Xbox will be a bit more stable. already eaten through one hard drive following a firmware download. :(
nothing like some familiarity to bring on the urgency and pop up the immersion level.
I agree, I think the scoring is out of touch, and the game might get 50% right ... but too many things can happen in real life that can affect the outcome, so won't find me betting based on this.
rather well done and i think breaking out of the stereotypes will do nothing but make gaming overall better.
Jaffe runs his mouth a lot, but he does produce some very, very good games. So he does back up the bravado.
Nariko is my favorite, without a doubt. The only thing that would diminish her, in my eyes, is if they tried to bring her back from the dead for a sequel.
Will be interesting to see how close it gets, if at all.
Yep, should be big with some titles releasing that I'm really looking forward to.
I remember this game. Seemed pretty innovative at the time. The nice thing about looking back at games enjoyed in the past is that sense of fond memories. They may not translate well now, but they sure were fun then.
The combat elements sound pretty decent and the screens show some flair. This is sounding better and better all the time.
Ya, the action doesn't pause and you have to open the menu, select the character, scroll down to the health potions, select it, then select use from the pop-up menu. By that time you've take a couple more rounds of damage. Easier to cast a heal if you have the AC. But that may be the point - cast heals for in-combat situations and drink health pots out of combat.
